  • I think I'm done for the month. I learned that running isn't something I enjoy or have the shoes for so I didn't complete my goal for that. Event (Goal) Amount Run/Walk (26.2mi) 6.5mi Incomplete 76% Under Swim (2.4mi) 3.0 Complete 25% Over Biking (112mi) 252mi Complete 125% Over Maybe next month I'll try to break 300mi on…
  • My girlfriend and I spend 350-400 a month on groceries (including cleaning supplies toiletries). About once a month we spend around $50 for cookout stuff for guests.
  • As of July 20th: Complete (Goal) Swim 2.7mi (2.4mi) Complete Bike 157mi (112mi) Complete Run 6.5mi (26.2) 20 miles to go
  • Well it is cheap compared to a lot of gyms in my area. I feel its their business plan to not produce results. If they don't encourage you and keep you fat then they're more likely to keep you coming back month after month. They prey on the people that aren't very self confident by making it "Judgement Free". If you avoid…
  • I sometimes make my girlfriend the jiffy chocolate muffins. If you split the box into 6 muffins they're only 150-160 calories per muffin I've also made her chocolate banana "ice cream" slice a banana into 1/8 to 1/4 in slices (smaller is better) freeze the slices for ~4 hours (longer is fine you can do this days ahead)…
  • Master if the seat post isn't to deep you can take a metal cutting blade and cut a slit in the seat post down inside and then you should be able to use some kind of punch to knock it further in or you can try to use the punch to make it smaller diameter and then pull it out with some stork pliers. O and while I'm posting…
  • I'm going to try to do the standard: --Swimming 2.4 Miles --Biking 112 miles --Running 26.2 miles I'm sure I can do the biking but it should be fun to try to do the swimming and running. Here's my sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Almh55W4bRn2dEVlZmk3MERWN0RMcGxiQUFuUk1VVUE I'll try to update on the…
  • Time for an update: So originally I could do 12 pushups ~20 situps and 3 pullups. Today I did 25 pushups 48 situps and 4 pullups. I just finished my 3rd week of pushups and situps and am a day away from finishing my 2nd week of the pullups. Also keep in mind these numbers are the 5th "max out" set, so these numbers are…
  • In each picture you look a little happier. Good job.
  • Maybe I'll move onto the chair dip challenge after the pushup and pullup challenges are done. Chair dips probably would affect my pushup #s
  • Negative pull-up Climb up so you start in the topmost position, then slowly lower yourself. Work against the gravity and try to lower yourself as slow as you can. Partial pull-up You can also do a partial pull-up for variety. It's almost like a normal pull-up but you help yourself by jumping. Don't use all your strength in…

  • I noticed that the spreadsheet shrank quite a bit. This week I'm finally going to be down on weigh in day. I normally weigh in on Sunday mornings and this past month I've been having Sunday evening get togethers. So with Monday weigh ins I'm getting a somewhat false gain. Everyone keep trying 5lbs is still possible
  • Well 80% you'd get back once you're re-hydrated (a day or 2) but the other 20% is going to either have to be replenished by food or taken from stores in your body so I would consider that real weight loss.
  • Lol I guess that is something that should be pointed out. (The 1 lb a year thing not the toilet loss) I always find it amazing that I lose 3lbs between going to bed and waking up in the morning. Kind of inspires me to wash my bed more often.
  • Well that 20% has to come from somewhere if you're below maintenance calories. I found this info: Your blood is approximately 44% red blood cells, 1% white blood cells and the remaining 55% is composed of plasma. Plasma contains about 90% water, dissolved proteins, glucose, clotting utilities, mineral ions, hormones and…

  • If your set to sedentary and don't weigh very much then it might set you to the minimum calorie goal of 1200 which may only be 1/2 per week EDIT:O dear I'm a slow typer
  • Fighting the weight off even though sometimes I feel out matched
  • My girlfriend zig zags from 1300 to 1700 every other day and it seems to do a good job at busting through plateaus. She's lost almost 60 lbs now so it seems to be working. (Currently she weighs in the high 170s)
  • When you type in the minutes just go and enter the calories in the calorie field
  • I eat boneless skinless chicken breast with some onion powder, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Salt optional. 22g of protein 3g of fat and 120 calories for 4oz. Tuna and some light zesty italian dressing is delicious and low calorie as well. Basically any lean meat is good in my book. Just look at it and if it looks fatty…
