Besides cooking with it, when I have hot tea, I stir in a teaspoon or so. It gives it a nice, creamy texture. Yum!

This depressing thought has plagued me also. I'm hoping more people will agree that I won't have to do it forever. But I know every time I've quit doing it in the past several months, I gain weight back. :sad:

I just got this book and was wondering who was using it as a dietary guideline. I agree that it's more of a lifestyle change, and I think it's something I could do. For those of you who do this plan, have you changed your MFP goals to reflect the sugar/carbs, or do you just track it separately? Thanks!

Try not to get discouraged. I've felt this same way over the past few weeks. I finally went in and changed my setting to only lose 1/2 pound a week instead of a pound, and I have been focusing more on the TYPES of foods I'm eating, and a little less on the total calories. I especially am now tracking my sodium and sugar…

If you're brave enough to make your diary public, people can look at it and give you good advice. Off the top of my head, I'd say you need more fiber and more protein, and you need to eat every 2-3 hours. This seems to help me a lot. Also, if I have a craving, I try to cave a small amount and just keep my portion small.…

Thank you! I like green tea and should drink it more often. I'm really trying to up my water intake right now, as it was definitely falling behind. I am re-setting my goal to lose 1/2 pound a week instead of a pound, and I'm going to try to eat my full calories without eating too much sugar. Thank you for all the replies.…

I never know if I should eat my exercise calories or not. Everyone has differing opinions. And I just changed my food diary to show my sugar intake, which I think is part of my problem. I can stay under my calories but go over on the sugar. :(

Christina, we have the stainless steel versions that we bought at Bass Pro last summer, and we LOVE them!!! They keep the water incredibly cold and fresh. Thumbs up from me, too!
