The hives are odd. But, this is supposed to be a lifestyle change and not a crash diet. Personally, I have a cheat day once a week.

Once a week. Usually Monday

-
Yesterday, you said tomorrow. Just do it. Don't let your dreams, be dreams.

Why don't you eat the yolk?

I'd make sure you're eating and drinking enough. If you really need a boost, you could try the low carb variety of Monster. I have one on occasion if I'm feeling tired. http://bodybuilding.about.com/od/productreviews/gr/monster-lo-carb-energy-drink.htm

Cheat day. I save them for nights out drinking.
-
I have it with my staple breakfast. Scrambled eggs, tomato and tuna.

Once a week.
-
3 boiled eggs, a tomato and some sliced ham. I've never been very good at making meals. Does the job, though.

There is far too much text in this thread. Don't waste your money on anything that isn't food or tea.

Weigh yourself once a week, in the morning before you eat. Weighing yourself multiple times a day is dumb.
-
No.
-
Wouldn't it be easier to just add it to your food diary?
-
No, it's completely pointless and a waste of time.
-
This is a really bad system that just doesn't make any sense what so ever. You can't compare a bite of an apple to that of a burger.
-
Meat, veggies, eggs... avoid/limit pasta, rice and bread.
-
I'm trying 24hr fast once a week, but I already find it difficult to reach my calorie goal... Guess I'll just see how it goes.

Increase your calories to whatever your healthy weight loss limit is, but limit your carbs. If you stick to under 100g carbs a day you'll keep losing weight. Avoid processed foods, bread, pasta etc. More info: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/the-primal-carbohydrate-continuum/#axzz1zd4j2S8Q

Aim for things that aren't processed and more traditionally prepared meals. He really should use this site so he knows how many calories he should aim for, though. As an example, a typical day for me is: - Porridge - Tuna omelette with spinach and cottage cheese - Chicken breast, veggies and rice
-
Stick to your diet, it will come off eventually. Starvation mode is a load of poop.
-
Our body weight changes daily, so you being heavier one day doesn't really mean anything. Of course it is healthy to drink plenty of water, but not having "enough" isn't the reason you were 1.5lb heavier.
-
There's no point weighing yourself every day, it's completely irrelevant. Stick to once a week at the same time ( preferably morning) during the day.

He doesn't really need to exercise to lose weight. All he has to do is have a low carb diet and he'll lose that weight no problem. Avoid bread, pasta etc, lot's of protein and veggies. See how that goes for a few weeks.
-
Everything, last meal I had was dinner yesterday and I won't be eating until dinner today as part of my weekly fast routine.
-
Ignore the protein limit MFP gives you, it doesn't matter.
-
I don't really see how increasing your calorie intake will do anything. Personally, I would just try and fit some cardio in.
-
You'll burn the same amount of calories whatever the temperature of your shower.
-
Personally, I'm going to try fasting once a week, where I'll eat dinner and then nothing until dinner the next day.
