it would appear you are already 1/3 of your way to your goal without the surgery. any chance you will reconsider going under the knife? while it will change you physically, it wont make the "brain change" you need. start moving a little each day. it doesn't have to be dramatic, just small, slow steps. before you know it,…

welcome to the best support system I have found. funny how a bunch of people you have never actually met can be so amazing to have in your life. so come on dad, I know you can do this, but more importantly, that little guy you are holding knows it too.

i dont lie about it because it was hard fought. and anyone who has ever tried knows how difficult it can be. i dont think i am bragging, i feel more like it is saying if i can do it, so can you. What if the person asking has 71 pounds to lose and you say you lost 50, they may see the extra 21 as not possible. Say your real…

been there for sure, but I stuck with it and am down 68 pounds. I struggle on a regular basis but I try and keep in mind my moto-protect your progress! Do what you know you need to and you will be putting your too tight jeans in the donation box before you know it. you deserve this success!

i'll be 50 next year. I really cant believe it. I call myself 30-19! I want to get my rear end up off the back of my thighs before I turn the big 5-0. so far, down 68 pounds. my moto is "protect your progress" and right now I could use some help with that. gaining is not an option, I have been getting rid of clothes the…

today does not dictate tomorrow. time to build yourself a bridge and "get over it." get up, get rid of any leftovers that dont fit your plan, and get on with what has made you a success. You got this

I left several pounds in the Rocky Mountains this summer. I even switched from hiking shoes to trail runners - I love them!

You are very brave and strong. I have a lot of respect for where your head is now. Way to go! Being your own cheerleader is just the beginning, there are some truly amazing people on this site to support you. I hope you will invite me to be one of them.

best answer ever! I do tell how much I have lost, because I am proud of myself. As for the How? I used to say the old fashioned way- pills and vomiting! now I get all dramatic, tell them to listen closely and just say- eat less and move more.

big pat on the back. keep it up! or is it down?
-
checking out menus on line is brilliant!

chobani lime yogurt -100 honeycrisp apples- (is there any other kind?) go lean cereal-to mix in the yogurt chicken breast diet pepsi - I know, I know, but what can I say?

I am secretly terrified about being successful at weight loss. will I just find something else to feel bad about?
-
the past week doesn't dictate the next week. get up, brush yourself off, protect the progress you have made with good decisions and use those photos as motivation. You can either look the same, worse, or better in the holidays photos this year. which will it be?

working it is one way to take proper care of yourself. resting when it is appropriate is another, no less important, way to take care of yourself.
-
You have already had 2 MAJOR successes. first, you got off the couch and did it, 2nd you are talking about doing it again. That, to me, is 2 very big wins! keep it up!

could you be having low blood sugar issues?
-

i know that donuts (or whatever) are going to be there the next day and the day after, so i wont be missing anything if i dont get one today. If it is a seasonal treat, then i will make room in my daily plan.
