  • 4am start, work out (30 mins) get ready for work, wake kids, breakfast, get them ready for school, leave the house 7:30am - Yawn........
  • I was the same after taking a fortnight off exercising. It hurt so much I could barely sit down without holding onto something for support. I wanted to carry on as well but the best thing is to rest then make sure you stretch well when you start up again. I didn't try to exercise again until the soreness went away (about 5…
  • I had exactly the same issue up until last week. 20lbs lost with 10lb to go so I dropped my carbs to 30g and have started losing again. Im eating 1500 but no exercise at the moment as I have hurt my knee. I tried EVERYTHING before that. Increased cals, Increased exercise, decreased cals, zig zaggged cals...and the list…
  • It's exactly the same thing....the calculators you use (scooby - fattofit) all factor excercise cals. I set my MFP to 1500 and when I put in exercise cals it comes to pretty much exactly what fattofit recommends. So long as you eat them back it's all good. Eat above BMR and below TDEE and make sure you have your activity…
  • Watch your knees - I have had to have a break cause mine hurt so much....im pretty sure it's my own fault not using correct form. It's great though lost 2 inches from my waist and hips in the first 10 days - cant wait to get back to it.

  • I eat between my BMR and TDEE - I find this works best for me than keeping my calories static (some days I want more food than others) I have lost 20lbs doing this. It's really a case of trying a few things and sticking to the one that works for you.
  • I have a HRM and I do clock up 130 for a v brisk 20 min walk if im walking uphil for some of the way.
  • I have recalculated to moderate and have come up with a much more sensible number of 1850 - I work out 5 days a week losing about 360 a day (with HRM) Im just worried thats not enough exercise but im going to try upping my calories a little more and see if that works. Im really impressed with your loss so any advice you…
  • I had a few replies on the general forum. It seems that if you are using the calculaters on http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ or http://scoobysworkshop.com/ you should not be eating back the exercise calories. Only eat them back if you are setting the calories that MFP give you - for me 1200. I have reset my goal to 1560…
  • I did - thats even less!! - I want to eat! From the responses it looks like I should have a calorie goal of 1562 as Im using TDEE-20% - Damn I was so excited that I could eat 1830 - I might have to up the workouts.
  • I took the figures from here http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Thank you all for the responses - very helpful
  • Thats what i thought but all the posts I have read say that if you use the calculators on http://www.fat2fitradio.com/ that the exercise calories are counted. i put myself down as active. i work out 5 times a week but nothing very heavy.
  • Please let me know if you need more info.
