I would only eliminate wheat if you are intolerant to it!! I can't see the point of eliminating wheat just because people say it...

I would change your lunch. If you are eating the same thing your body gets used to it... Maybe have smaller meals 5-6 a day...

I drink about 1.5-2L a day. I look at my wee and if it is pale yellow then I am hydrated enough. But to answer your question .. I don't think you can ever drink too much water. Everybody is different and some people drink more than others. So not one rule will apply to everyone.

I tried protein shakes in the past and they made me feel nauseous. So decided to stop them and have clean stuff. As I'd rather know what I put in my body....

I wouldn't as it gives me stitches. I usually drink enough during the day and definitely don't drink too much before running. I don't think it makes a lot of difference. The only time when I would have water with me is if it is extremely hot.... which is not the case right now :) Good luck with your running! Caroline x
