Yep - running on the treadmill is easier than running outside - as the above poster said when you're outside you actually have to propel your body forward and combat different terrain - ie slight hills, dips, gutters, tree roots LOL :) I have read that if you set the treadmill to a slight incline it can help in…

Great work!! 5.4k in 36 minutes is great! I keep looking on Endomondo to find routes to extend my run :noway: Sometimes I think I may be getting ahead of myself. I'm having a rest day today but will back into tomorrow morning with the aim of running 7km!!

Thanks all for the replys. We usually have a stock of both in the fridge as hubby isn't really into "low fat" items :wink: I've only really just started to take notice of the Nutritional Info on packaging so I'll keep a closer eye on my most bought items!

Great work on the 31 minutes. I was the same - not wanting to go back to intervals - and to be honest I haven't actually used the c25k app since I ran the 25 minutes straight (W7 i think??). I've been using Endomondo to track distance and split times etc. I can't see a real problem in pushing past the apps time limits ....…

You can do it. I was exactly the same when i started. Thats why I'm amazed I can now run for 35 minutes straight! Just take your time - its not a race! Repeat days or weeks if you need to!

Good work everyone! I have days when I can't seem to run 1km without wanting to stop. Not sure why some days are good and some are bad?? I seem to find it more difficult if I stray off my usual course and try something different. It may be in my head?? Do you always run the same course?

Running on a treadmill is easier because you don't have to propel your body forward, hence running outside is a totally different experience. I did W7 D2 of the C25K program this morning (so running for 25 minutes) and was also running Endomondo to track my distance and speed etc. According to MFP's approximate I burned 177 cals. Endomondo said I burned 267. I've decided until I get my HRM…

Im up to W6 D3 tomorrow! I cannot believe how easy this program makes running. Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to run 25 minutes straight ---- but now I can! Give it a go - enjoy it :)
