Will have to check out some ideas for the crock pot. I have an hour commute in the AM and PM each. Ha, yes...If I have almonds I will eat the whole thing and pack on the weight. Apples might be a good idea. I need to get some audio books on CD too, I think. Yeah, the commercials are annoying. I need to work on a plan.…

I was a good weight/good BMI until my early 40s and put on 50 pounds! Still trying to get them off and I'm mid 50s now. I, too, log everything and stay on track all day, then blow it at night. I just posted a thread on here about that. Maybe some ideas for you, too, on there.

Also thinking I need to eat my dinner around 4:30 or 5:00 at work... that's when I'm hungriest, so instead of waiting until I get home or sitting in traffic and end up like a wild animal.

I eat when depressed (often) and depressed because I eat too much! Food is my comfort.

It is a helpful tool for me to track what I eat, my exercise and I get support from lots of good peeps. It's coming off slowly, but I like to eat and don't want to feel "deprived". But, it is coming off! And I'm making lifestyle changes. Good luck to you however you do it. Be healthy and happy!:happy:

Exactly. That's why I'm weighing myself everyday. To stay on track and motivated. I gained weight because I was in denial and never weighed myself. So, it is really important to me. Thanks so much!

I think my doctor was the one who told me 1200 calories a day was what I need to lose weight, but will look at increasing that or try to vary it each day a bit? Definitely will check my fiber goal - having been tracking that, but good idea. You guys rock! I'm so glad I joined MFP.
