Feel free to add me! I just started back on MFP last week!

I agree, when I was at 1400 calories a day, I wasn't losing. I added another 200 calories (total of 1600 a day) and I started losing the weight fast.

Agree! many want the easy way out. The truth is that it takes changes, exercise, determination, and clean eating to get results! The weight did not show up overnight, it took many days to build up and I hate to say it because so many say it... but it took months/years to add up and it will take days/months to lose the…

Ive been running for the past 2 months (about every other day) for 30 minutes. I run on a 5.0 incline and run 2.5 miles in 30 minutes... it is amazing what it did for my legs and butt!! I know that 2.5 miles in 30 minutes isn't anything amazing, but try running it at an incline of 5.0... that is a workout :) Also, if you…

Yes!!!! Only very short non active people can really live off of 1200 calories a day. Most people can survive of this, but when you stay at only 1200 a day for a long time, it damages your body. I eat 1600 a day on non-workout days and eat 1800 calories a day on workout days.... and I am losing much faser then on 1200…

I agree, anything below 1200 is not the way to go. even 1200 is too low for many. In the long run, this will damage your body and make it harder to lose the weight. The best and safe way to lose is a slow steady pace. The reviews for this diet worry me.

I agree, I feel thin and then see a picture of me and well... I don't look as thin as I feel. My total weight lose goal is only 17 pounds ( I have 2.6 left to lose) and I feel that I still look the same. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I set mine to lose 1 pound a week, but MFP still only gives me 1220 calories to eat. Without exercise I eat at least 1300 calories a day, Ive learned that I lose faster if i eat 1300 vs. the 1220 that MFP says I should eat. If I exercise (most of the time I burn between 300 -500 calories) I try to eat back at least 300 of…

Thanks, I knew 8% was way off, but that's the one I entered all my info: wrist, hips, waist, forearm, height and weight. The one that said 25%, I just entered my: height, weight and waist?
-
Yikes, I didn't think mine would be that high!!! 1st site said 25% So I tried it on another site and it said 8%??? 37 years old, I am 5'7, 127 Ibs.

Did you need to ask... are you 12? I found it very rude. There are no stupid questions on here, we are all here for the same reason... to get healthy. By being rude, that does not help, it just makes you ignorant. If you do not have anything nice to say, then do not post.

Hang in there sweetie. We all are strict on ourselves at times and this at times can be our downfall. Set new goals and look ahead, not behind. Surround yourself with positive things and this will help you to stay on track. Weight loss is not easy and at times can make us want to eat everything in the house.... just…
