Stop the Madness!

Just a thought I had earlier. Most normal, sane people wouldn't fall for a Get-Rich Quick Scheme, right? By now we all know they are BS.

Why do SO many people still fall for the Get Thin Quick Scheme???

people are desprite or misinformed or both. All we can do is show them the right way and hopefully they will see it and we help them along the way

Same as with the get rich quick deal. Because actually having to do some work is "too hard". People want instant gratification because they've come to expect it in every other aspect of their lives. They've lost patience which is what you need to succeed in anything.

The same reason people buy cheap goods and are surprised when they don't last.
Same reason people fall for 'guaranteed' financial investments.
People fall for 'Celebrity endorsed whatevers,
Would a Celebrity lie? For financial gain?
    Looking for the 'magic' bullet.
    Looking for the quick fix.
How many people are sane and rational when they feel desperate?
How many sane and rational people don't know about reading nutrition labels?
Hmm.... You're right. It makes me wonder maybe,
How many sane and rational people exist?
Or what is sane and rational?

bingo! some people think that with the pills and fad diets, years of weight will come off in weeks. I fell into the trend to years ago, and I found something out. I lost the weight by diet and exercise.

Agree! many want the easy way out. The truth is that it takes changes, exercise, determination, and clean eating to get results! The weight did not show up overnight, it took many days to build up and I hate to say it because so many say it... but it took months/years to add up and it will take days/months to lose the weight! There are no miracle cures! I might be making enemies here by saying this... but weight lose pills, drinks, etc.... they are only temporary crutches, they are not meant for long term - so why take them? Do the weight lose thing the right way and the weight will stay off... ok I am done ranting.

There are still quite a few that will fall for the get rich quick scheme too. I know, it's hard to believe but it is true. It boils down to people, in general, not educating themselves/researching the company, product, etc...and wanting the "magic beans" that will lead them to success - whether it be money or the bodies they want.

Because rather than looking at a smaller picture, they are looking at a bigger one. Everyone has done that once in their life. Plus like everyone else said, they want fast results as fast as they can get them; whether or not it hurts them physically.

It's a trick to avoid being hard wired into expecting instant gratification. As such, it's very easy to tempt people with promises of minimal effort-instant results type thing. Fad diets, vitamin pills, etc.

We all need to be a little zen sometimes, I suppose.
