I know how you feel! Keeping busy is a good thing to help. If you already had enough calories and such, maybe drinking some hot chocolate or chewing gum could help. Also you can plan in little snacks throughout the day and have them when you feel hungry.

It doesn't need to be complicated. All you need to do is walk. It's simple, easy, and something that you can commit to. You can get a pedometer or device (BodyMedia, FitBit, Jawbone, etc) to track your steps and miles you walk.

Sometimes my BodyMedia Display Device would say I have ~100 extra steps than my Activity Manager would say. I never knew why. However this was a rare thing for me, and it was never a significant amount of steps. You should probably contact BodyMedia and ask about this. Maybe your device needs to be replaced.

I loved my BM Core and always went according to that. Good luck reaching your goal!

Such a great deal! I got my last year in February and only got the first 3 months free. I used my BM Core for 1 year, and now I've switched to FitBit One because there is no subscription (plus it fits in my pocket).

I've lost 5 lbs of holiday weight and got a FitBit One. I used a BodyMedia Core last year but wanted a simple pocket pedometer now.

You can tell him weight loss is 90% what you eat. If he doesn't agree or believe you, it's okay. He doesn't have to agree on everything to be supportive. :)

A man's calorie burn of doing 45 minutes of a spin exercise class: This is why I feel the BodyMedia is the most accurate tracker. Source of that image: http://news.cnet.com/8301-33620_3-57588371-278/my-life-with-the-bodymedia-fit-activity-tracker/

The BodyMedia armbands gather your actual calorie burns. It's the most accurate tracker. I used a BodyMedia Core for a year. Now I'm using a FitBit One because I just want a pocket device to track my step count.

I weigh-in every morning. I have the Withings Smart Body Analyzer, which wirelessly uploads my weight and other data into charts/graphs.

Great results, everyone! -91 lbs in 2013

Great job!!

I personally cannot stand Blurred Lines because of the sexist rape lyrics. I am sure that is the most popular song of 2013, though. :( So sad.

It might be a matter of if you slip up on something, you will gain weight. A few ideas I have for you is to lose 5 lbs and then eat normally, not tracking anything. That way you have a buffer of 5 lbs in case you do gain anything while you get yourself back on track (of not using MFP, not measuring, etc). Eat in moderation…

Good luck to everyone! Anyone can add me. :) My resolution for 2013 was to become a healthy BMI. I achieved that by losing 91 lbs. Now in 2014, my resolution is to lose 10 lbs more and then maintain. I have logged in daily for over a year now.

I want to get down to 120 lbs and maintain. In 2013, I lost 91 lbs.

Merry Christmas!

Okay, I can no longer see my data. When my subscription expired on Saturday, a popup notification says "Your subscription has expired. Click here to renew." I wish I could see my previous data since I did pay for those months. Oh well!

It doesn't have to be complicated. Simply walking is all that you need! I spent the entire year walking as exercise and managed to lose 91 lbs like that. I recommend getting a device to track your steps, which adds plenty of motivation. Such devices include BodyMedia (what I used), FitBit, etc. If you have a device like…

You can add me if you'd like. :) I have logged in for almost a full year now, and I reached my 2013 goal of losing 91 lbs. :)

I am not going to be obsessive about things next week, but I will most likely log my food still.
-
I'm not sure what your situation is, but I'm here for support and motivation on MFP! If you are looking for that, you can add me. :)

I got my bf of 5 years a Nintendo 3DS with two 3DS games.

Thank you guys so much! :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I cancelled my subscription today. So far, I can still get into the system. Technically my subscription doesn't end until this Saturday, so maybe it'll change after that date.

Great job!!! I just lost 90 lbs, as well. :)

Wonderful!

All it takes is one year to get everything back on track. I was in your shoes at this time last year. I started my weight loss journey in January 2013 and reached my goal this month of losing 90 lbs. Anything is possible. Just take it one step at a time. :)
