  • Thank you all! I will ask at the farm next time we go. I do drain our burger once cooked also.
  • thank you everyone! I've been eating a lot of meats, cheese, eggs(in many forms!), pistachios/almonds, cottage cheese. I made "fluff"- cottage cheese, lite whipped topping, and sugar free jello. I tried cauliflower rice- very good! I have also had raspberries. I found some whole milk organic plain greek yogurt that is low…

  • 2nd round of LIIFT4- week 2, day 1
  • Apologies! LOW CARB. Yes he can have unlimited veggies!! There’s are a few on the list to stay away from. So yes I do know that veggies do have carbs. He is having the gastric sleeve done. This has been a long process and certainly not something we’ve taken lightly. I just don’t want to be making separate meals! I want to…

  • According to the dr, NO carb for the hubs. I workout regularly so I’m concerned about going full no carb for myself, because I know you need carbs for workouts, but then I’ve heard opposite. The paperwork says no milk, grains, potatoes, rice, yogurt, fruit. Which I LOVE Fruit! So that will be hard.

  • I have worked out regularly for quite a few years now and really no difference as far as muscle or weight loss. So I have to assume it’s my nutrition. That’s where I’ve always struggled. I don’t know that I eat enough? Eating the right things. I need to try on of meal plans that go with the beach body workouts I do. I have…

  • I still struggle with the calorie thing! Add me!
  • Omg! Me too! So scared to run again or even do the elliptical! Anything that would have me go up on my toes! :/. I feel your frustration and concern! I'm a runner also and would give anything to get back to that! :(
  • The only pain is from doing pt and working that toe. The plantar plate is secure and tight. If I wear the split all day(which is as dr directed) then take it off to elevate it, and then like take a shower, when I get out of shower, It has drifted over some. I'm at week 10 post op and I realize healing takes time. I'm…
  • I've also heard not to log my exercise and eat the 1660....??
  • Yes 1660 for sedentary and set to lose .5lbs a week
  • I have a Fitbit to help get a better calorie burn reading than the machine but I also know that's not 100% accurate either. Today I burned 428 calories with exercise. My cals are set at 1660 with sedentary. I'm 5'11 and currently 175lbs, and I'd like to lose 10-15lbs. I can't seem to get the formula down. I am to eat 1660…
  • For me, i run on the roads near my home. They tend "crown" so it often feels as though I'm leaning while run so I move to the shoulder which is flatter. And yes try to get in deeper breaths.
  • I did it this past summer and I loved it! BE CAREFUL though! Wear good shoes and watch your form! Good luck! I've also done P90X3 and loved that skso
  • Are you running on a treadmill or road?
  • I did it! I didn't lose much weight but I felt stronger and strarted to see definition. I took my time with it......for instance, month one took me more than a month. Please be careful and wear good shoes with lots of support! I partially tore my plantar plate and the collateral ligament in one of my toes. I did love it!…
  • I logged it as circuit training when I was doing P90X3
  • I had foot surgery on 11/20, so I feel your pain! I am doing arms and abs and stretches. For me it's more about not getting lazy! I work at home so I already sit for 8 hrs as it is! Good luck!
  • ok,thank you! i love raw veggies!! i will see if I can narrow it down! I hate to cut anything out, but dang!
  • well, it seems like cucumbers do it! i also eat the mini bell peppers, and snap peas. never have a problem with broccoli. and LOL! at your comment! and i usually have tomatoes and onions often, whether it be on wrap or in a salad.
  • I did P90X3 and I'm now in week 4(recovery week) of Insanity. It's definitely doable. You can do it for 60 days(that's working out 6 days a week), or 90 days. I'm doing the 60 days, but my body is definitely getting tired! LOL for month 2, the workouts get harder(max interval circuits), so I may do every other day, and…
  • i don't eat back exercise calories most of the time. If I'm hungry, I do eat them back.
  • I've been here for almost 2 years. i started wanting to lose 10lbs, but with my weight going up, now, it's more like 15. I do eat dinner every night! we eat a lot of fish(my husband is a fishing fanatic) and chicken. I don't remember the last time I even had a steak! So a lot salmon, steelhead, turkey burgers(no bun for…
  • i eat whole wheat or mutlgrain pasta, and I love it. Just made spaghetti last night. while the serving size is disappointing, I made mine lean ground turkey, and had low fat cottage cheese, and broccoli as my sides. Side note: when I weigh food, i am surprised how small the portion looks! LOL! I often think, "how will this…
