  • please don't be one of those people that max out the incline but hold the machine while leaning back. It totally defeats the purpose of the incline and makes you look like a tool. jm2c
  • if you have issues with deadlift with bar only, work your core first. you can do weighted hyperextentions, planks, superman stretches, glute bridge, cable pull throughs and bent over (90 degrees) barbell rows to strengthen the muscles before you deadlift. you can cheat a little using a weight belt.
  • 140lbs @ 30% body fat looks totally different than 140lbs @ 9% body fat regardless of height. body composition should be more important than your weight. you should be more worried about the visceral fat around your belly, its the worst type.
