I've been trying to lose the same (last) 10 lbs for about 4 years, and I'm determined to get it done this time. I've been quarantining/housebound for 5 months, and we finally have a mini vacation planned, which I'm using as my motivation.

Make salads your best friend. Just watch the salad dressing. I like to order mine with olive oil on the side and a wedge of lemon. Include the kids in your walk, rent a bike for the week, have fun "playing", frisbee tossing, hiking, and exploring new sights outside with your family! Good luck and have fun!

Why not try a month and see? I actually do both. I belong to a gym that is close to work where I do treadmill, elliptical, yoga, spin, and body defined (combo strength/cardio) classes and workouts. On weekends I do Jillian DVDs and, if it's nice out, walking or biking. I find that mixing it up helps keep me from getting…
