  • Great post! I always love reading what you have to say.
  • Just did 450 lbs 10x.
  • Hi Everyone! I'm from the Blaine area. I wanted to share a new gym that opened in Mounds View - MN with you. It's right behind the good old Mermaid (bar, bowling, and hotel place). This gym is awesome. I joined on Aug 5th and I'm so glad I did. I had just canceled my YMCA membership and all of my motivation was GONE. This…
  • Thanks your info has been very helpful. Another lady that is on my friends list said to have them check the bushing and the sway bar. She said her car and her husbands truck did the same thing. I then went and googled that before coming back to check for comments and found this site.…
  • I have a full warranty on it. I didn't pay anything at the time. I haven't had time to bring it back. I know the warranty covers it so I'm not worried about losing any $ over it. I just have to find time to bring it there.
  • I already voted for you!!
  • I agree. I think trial and error is the best way to know where you should be at. I had to drop my calories closer to my BMR and not eat back any calories in order to lose weight weekly. Before I was following the eat more to lose weight and it wasn't working for me even though I was doing some intense workouts at the time.…
  • I'm signed up with a few of my friends. Should be a good time.
  • I wasn't able to make it to RIPPED but I'm hoping to make it there this week. Tonya is a co-worker of mine. I love everything she teaches. :)

  • I was a Downtown St. Paul/Coon Rapids Y member for a few years then stopped and went to Lifetime Fitness. After a year of being at LTF I've decided to go back to the Y. I miss the classes and I miss being able to go on my lunch hour so my evenings are free. M-F I will be downtown St. Paul. Some evenings and weekends you'll…

  • Update - I've decided to leave LTF and go back to the YMCA. I miss the classes and my friends there. I think I'll still have my LTF membership for a month or so.
  • Sorry I'm just seeing this now. I only have a Coon Rapids membership so I can't go to other gyms but if you are ever in my area let me know. Tonight the plan is to take kickboxing since I lifted on my lunch hour. Wednesday I'm going to try Strictly Strength, and Saturday I'm doing Zumba and Sunday probably Strictly…
  • *grabs popcorn*
  • Awesome before/after results!!
  • I think it's great that kids as young as 6 yrs old want to be fit and healthy but lifting weights at that age is way too young. Whatever happened to sports, riding bikes, or playing with friends outside to stay in shape? I know at a lot of gyms offer kids yoga or cardio and things like that and I think that's a great way…
  • Have either of you tried the C.R.T, No Limits Circuit, or Total Conditioning classes? I've been at LTF for a year but I've never tried those classes. When I was at YMCA I took BodyPump 2-3x a week. I usually lift in the free weights area but thought a class or two might be nice.
  • I've thought about buying a juicer to use up my fruits/veggies when they are on their way out. Otherwise they end up in the trash a lot of the time. I wasn't sure which juicer would be worth the $ because some are real expensive and some are pretty cheap.
  • You need to look at the schedule because I think 1 or 2 of the videos for month 2 are on the same dvds as month 1. I have to look at that as well because I'm doing it at work with co-workers but my husband wants me to bring it home for him to start. I don't think I can though because some dvd's have 2 workouts on them.
  • Thanks for the feedback. I really don't want to lower my calories but in the past when I lifted 5x a week and did little to no cardio I was eating around 1900-2000 cals a day and still not losing. I need to tighten up my diet for sure but I should still be seeing some results with 1 cheat meal a week.
  • I can't view it either.
  • Look around for a cheaper price. I bought mine on craigslist for $50. It's a good workout. I know a lot of people that have lost weight/inches on it. I'm on Wk2 Month 2. I haven't lost any weight but I have lost a few inches. My eating isn't 100% so that could be why I'm seeing less results as some. It's a good cardio…
  • I'm on Wk2 Month2. This workout is no joke. Month 2 is more physcially hard than anything. Month 1 I got more out of breath but Month 2 is harder on my body for sure. I really can't wait to be done with this program so I can take a break. My wrists are starting to get real sore from all the up/downs and pushups we have to…
  • Anyones wrists starting to get really sore from these workouts? Mine have been getting sore with some of the moves we have to do. I think because you come down so fast sometimes that I'm not positioning them correctly.
  • Okay actually it's not the "Color Run" it's the "Run or Dye" race. Tricky, tricky! Still looks like it would be fun. I'm signed up.
  • I've been eating between 1700-1800 a day for a while now and not eating back my exercise calories. I do Insanity 4-5x a week and then I try to lift 2-3x a week. I typically burn between 300-800. Usually around 450 if I only workout 1x a day. For the past 6 months I've only been working out 5x a week. I haven't lost in a…
  • Those are hard and I do modify my push ups because my upper body strength isn't there yet. That's okay though it's still a great workout. The part I hated is the long holding stretches where the elbow is at the knee and the other arm is behind the back. Holy hell that hurt. My legs were on fire the whole time. Then…
  • Max Cardio Conditioning and I F'n hated it. Who moves that fast in those types of positions?? This girl can't keep up. I did the best I could do though.
  • You look great! What have you been doing to lose so much weight?
