  • I'm a married guy too, I'd be happy to be your online friend and offer my support dude. My better half is an active user of this site too (as is most of her family lol) It's great to have support online, but it's also great to have it in real life :)
  • I make sausages (not kidding lol)
  • I started RI30 last night!! :) I just finished the 30DS the day before so starting this wasn't too painful lol. According to my HRM I burned 400 calories doing the first workout and waiting 10 minutes for my pulse to start slowing. The 30DS only ever burned between 250 and 270 calories, so it either goes to show that RI30…
  • My reward will be to look awesome and hopefully live longer. Other then that I'll be quite happy :)
  • I gave up smoking and embarked on a healthier lifestyle at the same time too. It was the best thing I ever did, I've not had the urge to smoke or snack and the benefits I've seen from both changes has been more then enough motivation to keep me on the straight and narrow. :)
  • I've got a cardiosport combi C2 and I love it. I wear it all the time as a watch (because it looks nice) and use the chest strap when I'm exercising :)
  • I've not really had any problems with the size of the display, and there is 2 functions that cover the target heart beat, the first is a manually set one that you can programme in, it then bleeps when you fall outside of the range or go over it (different bleeps I believe) The other one is even easier, when you get to the…
  • After doing lots of research I decided on getting a cardiosport combi c2 HRM This is a really nice looking watch as well as a really cool hrm. It doesn't link to a PC, but since I log my workouts on here I don't need it to. What it does do is let you put in your age, weight and height so it's calories burned calculations…
  • Good luck with it, I hope that this is 'the diet' that works for you. I've tried to lose weight for years (all be it in a half assed way lol) and looked in wonder at all of the new types of diets that have gained popularity over the years. In the end what worked for me was the calorie counting and increased exercise. It…
  • I haven't posted any yet, but I'm making them already. I use paint.net it's a free program that's similar to photoshop. basically it lets you crop and resize pictures, add them to different layers and position them next to each other. My pics will be posted next week (or there about) when I've finished the 30DS I hope…
  • I'm the same, I've lost over 40 lbs in the last 11 weeks but I still think I'm fat even though I'm only 5 lbs of hitting the 'ideal' range of BMI. I can't notice a difference when I look down at myself. I was really surprised however when my wife posted a picture of me and my kids to facebook. I almost didn't recognise…
  • I've just finished day 4 of level 3 :) all I can say is that I never knew it was possible to sweat so much lol. I'll be posting my own before and after pics when I've completed level 3. Well done to the original poster!!! the results speak for them selves. I've already got a copy of ripped in 30 to move on to after I've…
  • I've been using this app for a couple of months, tracking my runs to and from work. I've not had any issues with losing gps signal, but then again the gps on my phone is the best I've ever experienced (nokia N8) I use my phone as a satnav in my car when ever I'm going somewhere new and it has never steered me wrong. Every…
  • Well time for me to eat my words I guess lol. I am now comfortably in the 32's (with a belt I might add lol) And!!!!! I managed to get the 30's on and done up!!!! They aren't a comfy fit yet, but They are definitely my new goal :)
  • I've just completed L2D4, I've been hitting it every day and feel miles better for it. I intend to do it in the 30 days and then move on to RI30
  • I'll be doing day 2 level 2 tonight, I've done the first 10 days straight and gone straight into level 2. My pictures after just the first level are really surprising!!! I look loads better :) I'll be posting my before's and afters when I have completed day 30 :)
  • I've just completed day 9 and I feel so much fitter, the first 4 days were almost like torture, it was pure will power and determination that kept me coming back every day, but from day 5 I've been looking forward to my workout and my recovery time has decreased to the point where a couple of minutes after the workout I'm…
  • good job dude, I've just finished my 30DS for the day (day 9 level 1) I hope my results are anywhere near as good as yours. I'm also staying a little under my calorie allowance and am running about 2 miles a day Monday to Friday. I've got some pics I took on day 3 and some from my holiday last year before I changed my…
  • I'm in Hyde :)
  • ummm I think there is something amiss with those calculators. I just put all of my details into the first 4 of them and they all told me that I should be eating almost 4000 calories a day! I was eating less then that whilst merrily growing fat! lol
  • I started on my new lifestyle a couple of months ago, I cut out all unhealthy food and all fizzy drinks (even though I only ever drank diet stuff) I made sure that as soon as I woke up I had a glass of water and a healthy breakfast, which is normally a bowl of healthy cereal (like puffed wheat or high fibre bran sticks)…
  • I'm on day 7 now, and feeling so much fitter already!!, my legs stopped hurting after day 4 (woo) and I'm psyched about starting level 2 in 3 days :) keep it up guys
  • I know that one very well. I started in size 38, wearing them tight and under the belly over hang. In my wardrobe I have a couple of pairs of 36's a couple of pairs of 34's and a couple of pairs of 32's (there is also a pair of size 30 levi's that my lovely wife bought me, but they look like dolls clothes so I'm not…
  • I'm probably the only guy using this DVD on here lol. I'm up to day 3 on level one. I'm gonna use it every day (hopefully) so far my knees are fine, but dear god do my *kitten*, thighs and calve know that they've had a work out lol. I was really proud of how fit I thought I'd got until I started this lol. I'm dreading…
  • Parents are probably the worst for this lol. every time I see my mum she starts worrying that I'm getting too skinny. I told her that I'm still 3 stone overweight and grabbed 2 hands full of belly flub to prove my point lol. She hasn't said it since (but I'm sure she will when I lose a little more lol) It might not be too…
