On days we decided to go that route ( extremely few, like, 4 days in the past 6 months ) we've just manually entered the max calories for the day and called it good for the day. We knew we were probably exceeding, but that's what those extremely rare days are for. The problem will start when those rare days become…

I'm trying to decide between Runkeeper and Nike+ . Runkeeper has a much better functionality but Nike+ has some really cool features that I wish Runkeeper had, or I wish Nike+ would adapt a couple of things that Runkeeper has. Overall, I'd have to say Runkeeper beats out Nike+ , but it's an extremely close comparison

Just blankly stare at her while she's running her mouth and when she stops just say " Oh, sorry , for some reason when you're around I think about jelly donuts, I didn't hear a word you said ". MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmm .............. jeeeeeeeeeeelllllyyyyyyy...........

Take turns hosting at other's houses, or rent a local gathering place or restaurant , and have it catered.

Chocolate covered chicken tenders. I was horribly, horribly wrong. Man it sure sounded like a good idea.

My favorite reply to me hitting the " complete this entry " button was the big red screen that popped up and said " WHAT THE EFF WAS THAT!!!!!!! Ok, it didn't , but if it could have , it would have. Remember, this is a lifelong lifestyle, not a sprint. Enjoy your day here and there and keep it on track the other 99% !

Maybe I didn't read close enough, but all I saw about the OP's weight was she was within 7 pounds of it. SO, how much has she lost ? Did he love her for who she was before she was " within 7 pounds?" Sounds pretty elitist to me. You should want your husband to be fit for a long and healthy life together. If you based your…

Well, as someone that's on a site specifically built for calorie counting, I think it's awesome and interesting news, regardless of anyone's opinion.

I sat my goal to 1 pound per week, and currently my suggested intake by MFP is 1900. I started out doing 1200, and it was no where near enough. I started feeling weak and basically like crap. I then upped it to 1400 - 1500 calories, feel awesome and it didn't change my weight loss rate at all.

He must be related to my last doc. The one that tried to take my blood pressure reading manually, and put the cuff on inside out ( with the gauge against my arm). Twice. I fired his *kitten* on the spot.

Wow what a double edged sword for a question. I don't think you're being " unreasonable" , but don't forget , your husband is part of the family too, not just you and your mom and dad ( prayers out there for dad's cancer issue, good luck with it ). You want to bond with your parents and your husband likes to keep up the…

You will gain water weight and very little fat. Within a week of being back and getting back on your diet you will lose whatever "gain" you got on vacation. This is a marathon, not a sprint, enjoy your vacation.

Up your fiber intake for a couple of days and that 1 pound will disappear like magic......

Been there and done that. I finally woke up one day and looked outside, and it was a beautiful day, and I sat there and thought to myself; I said " You know, what a pretty day outside, and there are going to be plenty of days out there like that, I can get out and enjoy it or sit here and rot." I got out and enjoyed it.…

Just one meal won't matter, it would only make a difference if it caused you to go back to old eating habits. So, as long as you know you can have just the one special meal and remember your Dad and have a good gathering with your Mom, just enjoy it and don't even worry about it. Remember, this is a long journey, not a…
