Yes, a gate works great! lol. My dog loves her "box", some dogs cherish their own "caves". Hers is a wire crate. Yes, the dog should be walked at least 45 mins a day. I've been using acv, a shot in 1/4 cup water every day. I think it does help with fat burn. I also use it on my toenails to combat tonail fungus. A tablespoon in dogs water helps prevent yellow spots on lawns. Mother nature's cure. :)

I too, am a sleep eater. I have waken up to melted chocolate in my bed and even a snack still in my hand. Eat something fiberous about 20 before you go to bed (whole wheat shredded bites cereal) should make you feel fuller. Drink some water before bed too! Good luck!
