  • Did you get any results from the 30 days of squats?
  • I am a big guy so I get a good amount of calories to begin with. I have found that if I control breakfast and lunch that most days I have enough calories to basically eat anything I want for dinner. I know this approach won't work for everyone but if you are up around 17,1800 calories you could probably do that also.
  • I understand the curiosity of wanting to know exactly how much... but does it really matter unless you plan to eat back all of those calories? Any exercise goals I set are usually based on time, not cals burned. Then I just let the scale do the talking.
  • This is a struggle. Even when your intentions are the best sometimes parenting has a way of sucking the energy out of you. The last 2 nights I've been exercising once everyone was gone to bed and settled in. This wasn't until after 10pm. The mornings have been brutal on me. The work lunchtime thing works for some ppl (I am…
  • How much of this has to do with the yoga pants most of you are probably wearing way more often now? lol. Congrats to everyone whose said they feel more confident. That is amazing. Big congrats to some ppl who are getting some action cuz of their loss.
  • If you think about it I bet most of you who are saying ppl didn't notice will admit this is true - you still wear the same clothes as before. Put on something that never fit you before and ppl will notice for sure. I've lost 46 lbs as of today and I am still able to wear a lot of the clothes I wore before and while it is a…
  • Dude, good F**Kin job! Listening to your tracks on facebook here. Sick vocals. I bet this weightloss has gone a long way in terms of your stamina and stage performance. I'm real happy for you to have lost this weight, it's inspirational for sure. I'm a tiny bit sad tho, there aren't enough fat guys in metal. lol. I always…
  • I've got awesome nunchuck skills...
  • To the OP... I can see you are frustrated. I don't think you intended to come off as the kinda person who judges everyone else. As a normal guy I can tell you there are probably a lot of guys around who feel the same way as you and think they won't be able to find a "normal" girl who would accept them. Put yourself out…
  • My personal experience is this. If I REALLY (and I mean REALLY) want something, then no alternative will work. I'll try the alternative and not be satisfied, then try something else and still not be satisfied and in the end eat what I really wanted anyways. I honestly think that just eating and fully enjoying the thing you…
  • Not to sound like a broken record, it IS the food tracking. I have been down this road myself. The more certain you are about what goes into your body the better your results will be. Get a food scale and test yourself. See how much 4oz of meat really is. Start looking up the calories for things you eat and be honest about…
  • I want to get out of the 300s and into the 200s.
  • LOL, you are talking about Sirachi right? I call it rooster sauce too, lol.
  • what about taking a couple of weeks off?
  • I think it's pretty safe to say that most ppl on here have lost weight and gained it back before...
  • Let me start out by saying... I'm somewhat of an expert at being a failure with this. I've been up and down in weight the last 15 years basically. I get motivated, I lose, I get slack and I gain it back. I got to thinking... why is it that at work I can focus and get **** done and with this I always let things go when it's…
  • I'm a metalhead with a hiphop background and I like a lot of dif stuff. But, my list will have to be metal. \m/ As I Lay Dying - Forsaken All That Remains - This Calling Alexisonfire - Boiled Frogs Baptized in Blood - Dirty Back Deftones- Bored Deftones - My Own Summer Killswitch Engage - Anything from Alive or Just…
  • calories is not a measure of weight. i weighed an empty glass on my kitchen scale just this morning. 11.1 oz. I filled the 16 oz glass with water and it was 1 lb 14.3oz. Therefore, the water itself was over a pound.
  • I've had this happen in the past. Sometimes logic goes out the window and it does seem like your body needs a shock.
  • I read a good quote once. “The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.” Even if you don't have your equipment today or the money to get it or whatever the reason may be... you are signed up for this site. Set your goals up and eat your calories. Even with no exercise you will begin to…
  • I weigh in once a week. I picked Thursday morning for this main reason: weekends are a lot tougher for me. If I am going to slip up or have a cheat meal it is almost always on the weekend. By doing my weigh in on Thursday I basically have all week to make up for any weekend shortcomings. I'm trying to not slip up but I am…
  • First of all, congrats on the 30 mins completed and the commitment to do it 3x/week. I understand your confusion, I've had some of that myself. In the end the real honest to God number doesn't really matter if you are not planning on eating them back.
  • BBQ them til they get a little bit of a crispiness and are fully cooked. Cut them into pieces, use a bit of your favorite kind of sauce to turn them into "boneless wings". Just pick a sauce that isn't terrible and don't use a mess of it.
  • Not sure how many ppl woulda ever heard this cover but everyone knows the original: original : Sir MixAlot cover: ph8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrNbsMKUNOE
  • Also, the Cash version of Hurt is probably one of the best songs ever recorded IMHO. The whole thing is just raw emotion. It feels like you are talking to the guy and feeling his pain.
  • Funny that as I was reading this a cover came on my playlist: Holy Diver Original : Dio Cover: Killswitch Engage Dio probably wins but the kse cover is good.
  • It's partially accountability. If you can stick to tracking and you have to look at what you are doing to yourself it becomes REAL. There are no tricks you can play with your mind to justify it. It's all right there in front of you in black and white. Having some good friends on here to comment/encourage you is also…
  • I don't think anything anybody's ever said to me, or any experiences I've had or didn't have because of my size has ever upset me as much as things I think about myself when I am down on myself.
  • I'm a dad. 2 young boys and soon to add a baby girl. It breaks my heart to think about a dad saying something like this to his baby girl. WTF? The fact that you see him 1 or 2 times a year speaks a lot of him... He'll realize one day what he's done and it will haunt him.
