Very cute pics - I want to be just like you when I grow up :)

So my symptoms were pain in my back under my right shoulder blade and just a weird/pain feeling when I tried to sleep on my right side. I didn't have any reflux but it always hit right after work on my way home. For a long time I thought it was just from sitting at a computer all day but did some online doctoring and came…

I didn't have any stones on ultrasound either but the nuc med test showed it was functioning at 6%. I had it removed and am so glad I did! I read forums of people saying they were worse off after so it was a little scary but my body has adapted and I don't have any issues now. I would suggest having the nuc med test done…

One of my friends is an idiot and never stops running her mouth...she has given quite a few stupid "compliments"but here are a few gems for you: You have such a pretty face...you would be hotter than any of our friends if you lost weight. I realized my boobs are starting to sag the other day and it reminded me of you, I…

I'm in! CW: 215 GW: 195 (OMG, that would be so awesome - no more of the terrible 2's!)

OMG - me too! That was the first CD I owned :)

I'm not sure if it will be the same as the one I use but here is my advice. I started out doing target heart rate but the calorie burn was small. I changed to intervals at level 4/resistance 6 and level 10/resistance 11 and now I burn a little more than 100 calories per 10min. I started out at 4/4 and 10/8 and built up to…

Oh and that maple syrup, brown sugar, marshmallows crap is totally disgusting. It's a freaking potato not a dessert.

Here's one I haven't seen anyone post yet. Peel, slice into smallish cubes, boil until tender, drain water. Blend them in a food processor or mixer with butter, minced garlic, parmesan cheese until smooth. Put them in a glass baking dish and top with parmesan. Bake at 350 until the top is partially golden brown, about…

Advice for yogurt/granola - Eat vanilla yogurt with Kashi Go Lean Crunch - 1/2 cup each is 190 cals. They are awesome together! I'm not a huge greek yogurt fan and normal granola has too much sugar. I wish there was less sugar in the yogurt but I don't eat it every day.

Everyone is different so you have to do what's right for you. Also, if you eat/drink a lot of dairy it can affect the baby - the baby could have some painful gas (again, every baby is different). I pumped exclusively for 3 months and could barely keep up while my friend is still pumping exclusively (10 months) and has a…

Nice! Seems like when motivation gets low something happens to pick you back up! It's always nice when a guy says it because they typically don't throw around empty compliments and sometimes don't say them to your face ;) The other night my husband said he could definitely tell I've lost weight - it was right before we…

It stands for "bring up my post" so you can read it later. It will be on your profile page under your posts so you can click on it and read the recipe later. I asked the same thing when I first joined :)

Drink lots of water, make sure you eat bulky foods with lots of protein and fiber (chicken and broccorri) - these will keep you fuller longer. Eventually your stomach will shrink and you'll get fuller faster as well.

YOU are awesome!!! You have come so far - very impressive! People like you keep me going. I know people can tell you that you look great all day long but it's what YOU think that is your reality. But I'm still going to say it - you look fit, gorgeous and super happy!

I've had weight issues since grade school so I think that has a lot to do with it. I don't have really low self-esteem though - just some things I need to work on. I don't cry myself to sleep at night :) I lift weights 3x a week and cardio 3x a week. Just trying to get back to the way I looked 3 yrs ago in that pic. I'll…
I think you're beautiful in that pic and you'll be beautiful when you reach your goal weight. :) I did this when I was thin in school; I judged myself based on what the other girls looked like as opposed to what I actually was. I'll let you know in a year or so if it's the same this time around ;)
Thanks!…

I had it open for a few days but closed it when this thread seemed to taper off.

Eating more sounds a lot more fun than that other stuff! I was thinking about a fitbit - do you have to pay monthly membership?

Thank you all!!! I was pretty sure that's what everyone was going to say - I just needed to hear it. Lower sodium More water More protein I think my problem is that when I'm tired my brain says "carbs please" and along with it comes the sodium. I started out with just one salty/carby snack a day and it just ramped up from…

Read Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon I do IF most of the time - I'm on about 1,300/1400 calories and I really like using the calories for more food at lunch/dinner and some snacks (1-8). Instead of 300 for B, L, D I can have 500 for L, D and 300 for snacks.
