Hoping I can persuade myself to do another round and maybe I'll make 15 minutes. I caught wind of a conversation on here about losing…

  • The scale keeps me accountable. It doesn't matter what I put on here and whether I exercise or not. It's what shows up on the scale. I'm either doing it or I am not. Changing a lifestyle of eating takes time.
  • About the only exercise we do together is walking; he has to slow to my pace sometimes and others I manage to keep up with his. But everything else he is stronger and more disciplined than I.

  • I like spinach in scrambled eggs - but I've not made it with fresh spinach; if you cook it first be sure to drain any excess moisture before putting in eggs to scramble.

  • Popping in for some of that vitamin F that flows so richly in this group! I have been working on increasing 2 deficiencies - vitamin D and iron - which is so low (iron) my nails are brittle. They break at the slightest bump. I was looking at my long-term reports on MFP yesterday and I thought it would have been helpful if…

  • Confession is good for the soul and in this case, the scale. You owned it and that makes you a winner. It's no fun losing the same weight once lost before but it can be done. Keep on doing what you have to do; keep us posted and we will encourage and support you any way we can.
  • Day 2 and already on page 5 - what an awesome group! No way I have read all the posts but just in scrolling through I see some good news and some not feeling so well like me. • Bah humbug!!! I have been at this same weight for nearly a month and so ready to see it go down. Surely I though working at Target would help in the loss category. Oh it keeps me busy - bending, standing, stretching - does smiling count; but it's not showing up on the scale or at least not yet. Next week I have a lot more…
  • oh wow! so many beautiful women each with their own stories and it's just the first day of December; what an awesome thread. As for me I know from my own experience last year December is a challenging month. I came through Thanksgiving in pretty good shape. • Yippee!!! I made my goal for November which was to do 3X's a week exercise activity for 50 minutes or more. For December I am keeping it status quo as I really don't know what to expect. Target may give me more hours to keep me busy and as of late real estate is taking up the slack. I sure hope everyone had a wonderful…
