PT measures it all every 10 days as well as looking at my weight. He’s going to tweak my macros, but my question is if I’m losing fat and building muscle why do I not see it in measurements or weight loss?

Everything I eat is weighed properly. I prep my food at the beginning of the week and I know exactly how much is in each Tupperware box (ie: 125g chicken, 95g sweet potato, 65g Brussels etc etc). I am totally anal about weighing food and correctly entering it in MFP.

1270 a day for the last month or so Ive recently increased exercise, so swimming 3 times a week instead of 1, when i go to the gym, i lift weights and try and always do a little bit better than the previous week, doesnt always happen. So my weight will go from 159lbs to 162 then graducally down to 159 but never below this…

Yeah calorie deficit 7 days a week. I’ve been lifting, not so much cardio.

the scale goes up by a pound or so then back down a pound or so but no lower. Being careful with entries, doing everything I should be doing.

Thanks, i do high protein and low carb. Going to switch up my workouts to see if that helps

Nope never eat my exercise calories back. My calories are 1270 a day

I have mfp set to not take off calories expended during exercise.

Yeah I weigh every scrap of food. Hasn’t changed in weeks.

Shouldn’t it? When you cut out the pizza, chocolate etc and start eating good sources of protein, healthy fats etc?

2 weeks, I’m eating a lot healthier and am now exercising which I wasn’t before

Keep hydrated, and try eating a banana, it has potassium in it and helps. I used to do a lot of swimming and would get the worst cramps ever, started eating a banana beforehand,... no more cramps

Fair enough, i find it easier to stay off the chocolate altogether, or it ends up my calorie deficit doesnt happen

OK, i take back the clean eating description. Im on a calorie deficit, while eating high protein and cut out junk and sugar.

My food for yesterday consisted of a full box of Mint Matchmakers, a whole pepperoni pizza, a sharing pack of revels and a portion of cinema nachos and cheese :(

Thanks. I dont do "diets". When i got healthy, it was by healthy eating. It allowed the odd treat, but I was eating clean most of the time, and being more active. Doing it all the right way.
