My endocrinologist told me I would 'lucky" to be at least 10 pounds over weight
-
It can, especially if you have hypothyroidism. Also stress can make it tougher as well.

I am against it, one of my friends had it. She's lost the weight, but is getting her second skin removal surgery in a month. That has been her biggest problem is the excess skin. Also, do the rapid weight loss, you may have to have your gall bladder removed.

I'd be taller, I'm 5'4 and I am the shortest on my ice hockey team
-
You might also want to get a blender bottle for mixing up the shakes when you are on the go as well.

Ween your self off slowly, cut down the quantity of your soda and candy first. Drink plenty of water. Then cut down the frequency of it, I did this and I quit my soda and candy habbit in a month. If you quit cold turkey you will get bad headached because your body is so friendly with the caffine that is in the soda.

It happens to me to, I live in Texas. It seems the heat will make me fatigued and sweaty as well.

Would you like support drom soneone 5'4 and has hypothyroidism?

You could notice results within one month at the earliest but be aware, the first year on thyroid medication you may need your dose adjusted a few times.
-
I get it all the time, I just ignore it. Most of " You don't need to loose any more weight" comments or you'll be to skinny comes from the guys I play ice hockey with. Just do what feels right for you.

I make a boston cream pie inspired protein smoothie with my favorite vanilla smoothie, 2 table spoons of sugar free vanilla pudding mix, a tiny amount of gram cracker crumbs, and a dusting of ovaltine.

Losing weight is going to be a little more challenging but it can be done. Be careful, I gained 30 pounds within a month of my thyroidectomy in January of 2011. I use plenty of protein and excercise regularly.

Was anyone told by your endrocrinologist that you would be lucky to be 10 pounds minimum over-weight and 10 have 80% of the energy that you had before your diagnosis. Here is my response, WRONG, you can achieve it, its extra work and extra frustration.

Seven point squat thrusts, i'd rather do knuckle push-ups then these
-
Get some good quality protein in, it will calm the hunger. I bring a protein shake to have after ice hockey practice,
-
Musclemilk choclate, it made me feel bloated
-
What helps me get through pms is plenty of choclate protein smoothies and lots of water. As for the emotion part, try cardio kick boxing, it's great for releasing the energy.

They have helped me with weight loss, it is especially a good idea of you have little time to eat, cook healthy, or a bad cook. I have felt full on my routine.

I was diagnosed with lipoma of the thyroid and had my thyroid removed in January 2011 (I was 24). I gained 30 pounds in a month lost it then regained 10 of it back. I am in the normal range again, well controlled on levythyronine and I am on a great diet. I feel like I had the energy like I did before the thyroidectomy.
-
That anoys me as well. My family is famous for doing this, if you refuse them they say or are stingy and hoarding food.
-
Yes, and he says I am still fat, why did I date him to begin with and stayed with him for so long. I know why, I was 23 and dumb.
-
16 year old me would say have more fun and to let one of your guy friends take you to spring-semi instead of being so fiesty.
-
In February 2011, I was 160 ponds. Not a good weight for a female who is 24 and 5'4.
-
Are you looking for a 25 year old with no thyroid. I battle my weight and my low energy every day. I had my thyroid removed in 2011 due to lipoma.

I play ice hockey in Houston!
