I like the almond flour pancakes. I haven't tried the cream cheese pancakes yet. This weekend rather than make "hamburger salad", DH and I sautéed onions, mushrooms, and spinach to top our hamburger patty. I had gouda on mine and he had jalapeño cheddar. YUM!!!

The weight gain is certainly from the iv fluids. I had pancreatitis 20 years ago. I have always been sensitive to very greasy food, but I have done fine on low carb/high fat. I would recommend talking to your doctor and starting slow.

I made kraut in a fido jar. It worked perfectly.

It is really a great bread sub. My DH takes sandwiches to work on it all the time. It holds together very well.

I quit chewing gum about a year ago. I was chewing so much I am certain the carbs were adding up. It makes keto-breath fun though! NOT!

This is just anecdotal, but my husband has PVC's and he takes the herb Hawthorn. It is a relatively harmless herb, and he can completely tell a difference when he isn't taking it. He rarely has them when he is taking it.

Yes! I've always been a little bigger than a friend of mine and thought I still was. We recently bought the same shirt in the same size and it was tight on her but fit me fine. It was a weird realization.

I found Dong Quai helped my cramps. I know someone above said it makes theirs worse, but I had the opposite reaction. Red Raspberry leaf tea is good too.

I've just recently started with weights too. One thing I love about Stronglifts 5X5 is that there is an app for it. I just open the app know what I am doing that day. It helps avoiding the gym wander. ;-)

I did this for a month or so over the winter and certainly lost weight. As soon as I started exercising again I was starving and miserable. I also became obsessed with food on my up days. I know some people love it, but I couldn't maintain this eating style.

I haven't seen your other posts. We are the same height, and I had the same starting weight as you. I have lost 20 lbs and feel great. I am by no means too skinny, and no one that saw me would think I was. Just do what you need to do.

I've been doing the same thing, but I heat it the first time on the stove to speed up the process. It is so easy!! You can strain it the next morning to make it more like greek yogurt.
