^ This! I was a 5lb baby at birth. Although I do store fat in my belly area, I also have big thighs and butt. What does that make me? An appear? Haha. Plus, I've never in my life seen anyone give advice to NOT eat breakfast... How credible is this person?

I agree with this whole heartedly! Remember that it is okay to treat yourself from time to time but make sure it is in proportion. Try to make it so that you can stay within your calorie limit. Anyone know if it's possible to do the C25k program on the elliptical/treadmill? Should I be doing this outdoors on real ground? Is there a major difference in results between the two? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (:

Wow! You teach Zumba? That is awesome! I LOVE zumba. My friends and I go every week (sometimes more often if we can). :love: I should give this coconut oil a try. Does this help with dry skin? My skin is very dry. On top of it being a symptom of thyroidism, I think it runs in my dad's side of the family. :grumble:

I suffer from hypothyroidism as well, though I believe in my case it is still minor. I am currently only taking a 100mcg synthroid tablet a day. I am so sad to hear about the no soy policy! I love soy milk and edamame. It is healthy too. :cry:

I think we are on the same boat here! I am 5'0" as well and fairly new to this. I am also trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. I'm afraid of over eating yet I'm also afraid of under eating. I don't want my weight loss to be temporary & plateau. ><

I track both my work outs (calories burned) and my food (calories consumed). It gives me a better idea of how much I have eaten/should eat. I'm currently trying to lose weight so it is beneficial to me to keep track of everything. (:
