Be ok with going SLOWLY! For TWO YEARS I tried to lose all 20 pounds in a month. I would lose and them immediately gain it back. Yo-yo!! This time, I'm going with a pound a week. And it's staying off!!

I could eat this a hundred different ways. But my favorite is pretty simple. Chopped, fresh garlic, olive oil and feta cheese when the quinoa is still warm. It's delicious.

Plan your day!! That is the only thing that works for me. Every morning, or sometimes even the night before, I sit and plan out all my meals for the day. Then if I have any extra carbs or calories, I can have a little splurge! And it helps keep me eating and on track!

Oh, I love Decatur! I lived in Virginia Highlands for several years. I miss being able to walk to places!! Walking to Piedmont Park on a nice day was one of my favorite things to do.

Alcohol on the weekends is my biggest problem too., I read an article that said alcohol is basically the devil when it comes to weight loss.
