Yeh i guess im just a bit impatient as i was losing at such a rate. Its nice to have the reassurance. I never used to like weighing myself but when doing this it shows you are progressing. Ive only been on here a week and Ive heard this alot. It is confusing so i decided to put it to a mega trial. Its a five hour aerobathon. Ive tried lucozade for a two hour aerobathon and plenty of water but just wondered if there was a "best" one to have. It seems like the points of view are mixed tonight

Well yes. I must admit im not a great fan of some of the powerade flavours but if needs must. I like redbull but i heard because it has a high amount of caffeine in it , it can really dehydrate you body?

Yes card - the websites are a good read and have good info - let me have any tips that you pick up when youve done your event. Ive done plenty of 2 hour events but never a 5hr before so im nervous that I can eat and drink the right stuff so i survive!!!

Thanks trail_rnr - that website is quite deep but brings up some useful info on hydration which i really needed to know about. I dont think I do drink enough before this type of exercise so I need to change my routine.

Thanks eleslie1989, the website is really useful. I can now get thinking of which lovely carbs I can eat for breakfast. We start at 11am so if i get up early i should have plenty of time to eat before the event and hydrate myself suficiently.

Thanks everyone! That is really useful. Thanks for the useful websites too. When i signed up for it i was only thinking about the exercise and training for that. I then realised that my food intake would be really important. Any other comments would be gratefully received.

Shock absorber for me - they go from A cup to HH!!!!! Figleaves or amazon are reasonably priced i find £20+.
