Jeannine here, I'm 52, married with two kids age 24 & 26. I'm definitely a yo yoer too. Lost about 30 lbs here a few years ago and gained it all back. Right now I'm doing the wheat belly diet which is no grains, no sugar and higher healthy fats and lots veggies. I don't generally go for eliminating food groups but I had a…

I make this recipe a lot and use boneless thighs, regular thighs, bonesless breast, legs......really whatever I have. The recipe is from Skinnytaste.com http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/07/asian-glazed-drumsticks.html Asian Glazed Drumsticks Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes Servings: 4 • Serving Size: 2 drumsticks • Old…

I keep Plain (no sugar or flavor) oatmeal packets in my desk, along with a small jar of peanut butter and packets of sugar free hot chocolate. I mix the oatmeal with the required water, add about 1/3 package of the hot chocolate and add 1TBS of PB. follow microwave directions to heat. It's a yummy peanut butter/chocolate…

I like Wild Orange Wulong Oolong Tea and toasted Nut Brulee as an after dinner substitute for dessert. I'm going to check out David''s because Teavana is expensive.

This was posted on another thread last year and I've made it several times. Everyone loves it! I omit the ranch dressing mix due to the sodium and add a little more of the other seasonings.

I've made Pumpkin Muffins too and they were good. Nice to grab and go. The veggie soup is good too and I also added the chicken to mine. Great minds think alike!! The Steel Cut oatmeal with apples, maple syrup and pecans is very yummy. I make a big batch and put them in separate bowls then just take a serving out each day.…

Yes weeks 3& 4 are more difficult. More like the Jilliam Michaels DVDs I've done in the past. You can always modify to make it harder as she suggests. Heavy weights, more jumping etc. I think she goes easy on the first two weeks for those that haven't done anything before. Good luck!

I kept up with my workouts during the holiday but my eating wasn't very good. Back at it this week. I can't peek at workout 5, I'd rather just bite the bullet and do it-lol! I might chicken out if I see what's to come. I think I'm going to do each workout session for more than two weeks. My thought is this will make the…

Jillilan definitely took it easy on us the first two weeks. Week 3 is more like the Jillian I know from her other DVDs. Brutal! the thinkg I love about her DVDs is that the first day you do it you think " I am never going to be able to do this" by the end of two weeks you're actually so much stronger and able to accomplish…

Onto Week 2! I lost two pounds last week doing the 7 day kickstart. Not as much as I hoped but it never is is it!! I'm sure it's got to do with my age (menopause) and underactive thyroid because I was really strict with it. Both conditions make for a slow weight loss but I'll take those 2 lbs since I worked my butt off for…

I started on Nov 5 also. I'm trying to do the full blown 7 day kickstart with the meal plan and double exercise sessions. So far so good on sticking with it. Sticking to the meal plan is tough as I'm use to eating at least one more snack along with grains and fruits. I figure it's only 7 days and I can get through it.…

I'm doing the 7 day quickstart so have been doing the cardio everyday so far this week. It's not too bad and it's less than 30 minutes if that helps in getting i t done today

www.jillianmichaelsbodyrevolution.com is the website where you can get it. It costs around 135.00 with shipping but you can elect to pay in 4 installments if you wish. I saw somewhere on here that you can get it at target but not sure on that and if you would get all the stuff you get through the site. I just started this…

Are there discount food stores in your area? Sometimes you can get healthy stuff at much better prices. It takes a little work shoping around buts once you know where to get what it makes it a little easier. Also adjust your menu to the sales items.
