I think I'll just end every post with "in my pants".

Well done, sir. :drinker:

Star Wars-Old school, but also Clone Wars and expanded universe.

Vega One (which is super tasty), Life's Basics, and some other brands I can't remember right now. Most are some combination of yellow pea, brown rice, and hemp.
-
8...most of them aren't close friends so chopping is feasible. Yuck.

Hi. I'm 5'11" and last I checked, my current weight i 185. My first goal is 165, but I may go a few pounds lower than that depending on how I look and feel. Feel free to add me!
-
Seriously? That blows. I miss him already.

If your gym has cable machines try them out. They allow a bit more freedom of movement than the regular Nautilus machines. I am just getting back into lifting and use those for some things and free weights for others.
-
Great job! Congrats and keep up the good work!

Veggies are veggies. Unless you have BP problems, don't worry about the sodium. :flowerforyou:

I'm glad you feel better about it. Just to play Devil's advocate, I will point out that some vegetables that are flash-frozen or "processed" on-site retain more nutrients than those that are shipped over long distances. Which is usually the case unless you're buying local produce.

Yeah, well, I know people (not poor people or uneducated or whatever) that never think to look at nutrition labels and have no earthly idea that eating unlimited quantities of alfredo sauce can contribute to weight gain. Call it delusion or denial if you want, but there are plenty of them out there.

A logical and rational post on MFP? Love it. It should be required reading. :drinker:

1. Be patient. You didn't gain weight overnight, so don't think you can lose it that fast. 2. Don't starve yourself and have a treat now and again. That way you won't be as tempted to binge. 3. Find exercise you love, and stop making excuses for why you can't do it. Even if you think you don't want to work out, you will…

2011 VW Golf. Black with black-tinted windows. Awesome for driving and parking in city traffic like I'm always doing.
-
Great for you for turning a negative experience to a positive one! Also, I love the cat.
-
You can add me too. I can always have more fun friends. You are fun, aren't you?
-
I know how you feel. My best friends are scattered all over the country. I have a few close by, but it just isn't the same. Which probably explains why I'm on MFP on Friday night.

I might be down for it depending on when or where.

I love my trainer. He understands my goals, and while he pushes me to do stuff I normally wouldn't do on my own, he always makes our session fun. I see him one hour per week and work out on my own 2-3 nights a week. He always asks about what I've been working on between sessions. We are mostly working on strength training,…
-
Yep! Actually, I'm so beat from working out that I don't feeling like procuring anything more difficult to obtain from the kitchen.
-
I just got home from the gym and I'm about to go make myself a protein shake.
-
Maybe you could decrease the reps with the 8 pounds and just do 5 and do more sets, assuming your form stays good. Don't press it if your form breaks down. Make sure you don't injure yourself.
-
Squats and lunges. Nothing better!
-
Because I'm lazy, endurance exericise is boring, and its freaking hot in Texas.
-
I wish I could add muscle easily! My trainer told me that a lot of female clients at the gym don't like to work with male trainers because they're afraid the boys will make them lift heavy and bulk up. I hate hearing stuff like that.
-
Congrats, you look fantastic! Your story makes a great point about how important it is to lose weight for your health. You truly are an inspiration. :flowerforyou:

Lifting, cycling, swimming. But mostly lifting.

Yeah, I never see many posts here, so I forget about it. We should try to keep up more.
