I am an evening/night eater too. Check it again if you are consuming enough calories for the day. Don't buy unhealthy things as much as possible. If you see it, you'll eat it. Work out or keep yourself occupied with non food related things such as reading, knitting etc. in the evening instead of sitting in front of the tv.…

Hold on a sec. You are a doctor and you don't know what food are lean protein sources? Strange :huh: Apart from everyone else said, powdered milk can be a substitute for protein powder in recipes. But it also has a higher carb and fat content than protein powder.

I read the ingredients. If it has processed sugar, corn syrup, starches, hydrogenated oil in it. I also don't buy it if it has artificial ingredients.

I have a pretty small frame and I can not manage to stay at 1200. Never. So I work my butt off and work out so that I have more calories to eat without getting fat.

Height does matter too. The taller and heavier you are, the more you burn. The key of HIIT is to push yourself until your max then slowing down. It burns more than running at an average speed with an average heart rate for the same amount of time.

I knew someone would take it personally. But as you said "it depends on personality". Not that everyone is into lifting. My mum who is 50 years old and pretty fit, but I'ld no way convince her to lift.

If she were my mom, I'ld leave her alone until she asks for my help. She may not be into lifting which is understandable for a woman who has a 23 year old son. Let the instructors help her at the beginning. If she is into lifting she'll ask for your help. It's when you need to get involved.

I second this. Also dried figs and dried apricots. Eat first then drink a glass of warm water or milk and see what happens.

Peel, mash, freeze then thaw a lil bit and add pumpkin pie spice. Yum! Or add a scoop of protein powder and mix well then bake in the form of pancake or cookie.

Soba noodles are delicious and made of buckwheat, you can try them. They are healthy and gluten free. Or you can make zucchini or carrot spaghetti with a julian vegetable peeler.

I work out after 8pm too. It affects my sleep slightly, it doesnt cause insomnia though.
