It's automatically locked. If I'm not asking for advice (which I'm not), why would I take the effort to unlock it just so people can tell me I need to eat less/more of certain things?

It depends on what I'm doing. Like with zumba, no. But I love when I'm running and Burn by Papa Roach comes on my playlist. :) It can really push me.

I read an article in a magazine about a Nike thing and when I looked it up in the app store, I found MFP instead :D Honestly, it's changed my life and others I've recommended it to. So glad I found it!

I have the DVD's and the wii games. I honestly have to convince myself it's fun but I love it because it burns calories REALLY fast. Totally worth the money. :)

Welcome! :) I think this website can be a great tool for you because if it's difficult for you to work out, just cutting back on calories will help immensely. It all starts in the kitchen.

I agree! People get so passionate about converting everyone else to their exercise regimen. Who cares?! It's different for everyone, plus the 1200 calorie debate that's always going on. So much misinformation involved in that...

I totally understand. I've been through binging and purging, or just binging my entire life. I allow myself one day per week to binge now, but it's still a lot less than I used to at once. I hadn't really thought about it, but I love the idea of setting monthly goals. I'm very impatient, so focusing on that will probably help me a lot. :) My goals for May are to lose 10 lbs, walk my dog every day, and continue eating as close to 1,200 calories and burning at least 300 every day.

If you're weighing yourself every day and are worried, maybe you should start slowly. Like just trying to weigh yourself every two days. I have a hard time lasting a week also.
