thank god for this post. It has kept me sane for the last 10 days, but yesterday the scale went down after increasing once I started a new exercise routine. Praise the Lord!

I just checked my HRM and the settings are all right (weight/height/birthday) I'm hoping its just the weight gain due to building new muscles...

I've been using my polar FT4 HRM I guess I'm just going to have to stick it out and hopefully the scale will drop..

MFP gave me a calorie goal of 1410, when setting it to lost 1lb a week, but TDEE -15% is ~500 more than that? This is why I'm confused, I'm not sure what's the best one to follow

so essentially I need to eat 1939 calories in total? But my net could be less as a result of exercising?

that all makes sense, that is just such a high number it scares me! hahaha I suppose I had to eat much more than that to now have weight I want to lose.
