  • Hello, I'm here if you need any support or advice. I had the sleeve on 11 Nov 2015 and have lost 29kg. I still have a little to go but I'm getting there.
  • I weigh daily, I'm interested in the daily fluctuations in weight, it's interesting to me. I have the Fitbit Aria scale so it logs to MFP automatically.
  • I have both the One and the Charge HR. I thought the Charge HR was overestimating but I wore them both at the same time and they were very very close. I am wary that having it on my wrist will be slightly less accurate BUT I'm enjoying it so far. I just stick to the calorie goal I set for myself, not whatever MFP is…
  • IPOARM recommends 20-30% under your TDEE for those who are morbidly obese, but only for a short period of time, I believe.
  • Hmm, in terms of stopping the binge eating, what helped me was breaking the cycle. It took three days of motivation and will power to help me, and after those three days I no longer craved whatever I am binging on at the time. What motivated me was having to get another size up in my uniform for work and even that being a…
  • A male friend of mine from the US recommended them to me as it helped him lose 5-10kg I believe, and you could tell. I bought them in Australia, and they did nothing more to me than increase my energy levels. Maybe he had an earlier version like the others are saying above, but it was only a few months ago. It works…
  • I'm afraid on MFP you will not find much support for phentermine. I have taken phentermine 40mg and it helped me drop 15kg. The first day or two it was impossible to sleep, but by the third night my body adjusted. I would take it at about 4am, go back to sleep and it would wake me up by about 7-8am. It will energise you,…
  • When I get those red letters and I'm full to the point where I couldn't eat any more, I'm actually happy. Think of it more as if the website is concerned for your wellbeing, it doesn't want you to starve yourself, as some do to lose weight fast. But if you've eaten until you're satisfied that day, and have exercised, the…
  • 77 lbs to lose, would love some new friends too. :)
  • I found I lost more at 1400-1500 calories than at 1200 calories, and I felt more energised in the process. :)
  • Welcome back! I've done the same, good luck!
  • I set my calorie limit to the highest number that I can eat but still lose weight (about 1700-1800), but I aim for 1400-1600 every day. So I don't feel so guilty going over 1600 when it comes up in red. :) That being said I still go over sometimes, but I have learnt that it doesn't really affect my weight loss if it's only…
  • I have used phentermine before, and my doctor wrote me a prescription again today. I tried taking it later in the day but I worked out that it kept me buzzing for exactly 16 hours or something similar. So I had to take it at 6am (and go back to sleep), and it would wake me up by about 8am. If I took it at night I would be…
  • I first started on 1200 calories a day and was very harsh on myself. Then I started "slipping" and was eating 1400-1500 a day and I was still losing weight, but feeling better for it. Now I have my calorie limit at 1700-1800 a day which is the highest I can eat to still lose weight, but I try to stay under that at…
  • I'm not on Optifast but I am on Celebrity Slim shakes. I'm coming up to my 11th week now and i have lost 9kgs (19lbs). I would love some friends on a similar program. :)
  • This may have been brought up before but if the OP still doesn't understand a question, I don't think there is any negative in explaining further. Essentially, a calorie is a calorie. HOWEVER, take your bad calories in strict moderation. There is no harm in a piece of chocolate 1-2 times a week, but 400 calories of…
  • Hi! Keep going, you can do it. :)

  • i'm impressed, I've tried both and both made me feel like I was dying.. intensity training is not for me. HOWEVER, please choose just one. You will still see results, but you will have more time to relax and recover from your long day at work. Rest is just as important as exercise! :)
  • At first it was hard for me to cut down and stay on track, but I found that after those first seven days and you log your weight and measurements, you will see that difference and it will motivate you to keep on track! Just make sure to log your weight and measurements today, so that you have something to look forward to…
  • Woop! And once you start seeing results you'll be ever more motivated to log.
  • Hey David! I'm 23 and also studying, but I agree with your philosophy of eating what you want within your calorie range. Feel free to add me as a friend, and congrats on losing 6kg!
  • Amazing progress, well done! I'm not doing Insanity but you're welcome to add me. I've lost about 35kg three times in my life and now i'm starting again, 9kg down so far since November!
  • Woop, you can do it! Feel free to add me, I'm here for motivation and support. :)
  • Perth, Australia - and like the previous poster said it is hoooooot, and humid in my area.
  • When I was about 12 I was overweight and rode my bike every day to try to lose weight, and someone drove next to me and shouted "Rissole" in front of my dad. It really affected me and for years I was very self conscious and extremely nervous to exercise in public. Now i know that was just a stupid insult from a teenage boy…
  • That is disappointing, I was hoping to buy one soon. I currently have a FitBit One and that calculates perfectly.
  • Feel free to add me, always look for motivation and support. :)
  • You look amazing! Congratulations! Some people just don't know how to come out and say that you have lost weight, especially if they have never had to do it themselves.
  • i still eat junk food weekly but I try to keep it within my 1200 calorie limit. If I'm over I try to eat a little under my limit a few days afterwards. I know I probably shouldn't, but as long as I'm not cry in out for food I don't see any harm.
  • i have taken phentermine/duromine/reductil before and on it lost over 30kg (66lbs). Many say that you will just regain the weight you lost, however you will regain the weight you lost with ANY diet if you do not relearn healthy eating habits and correct your food portions. I kept my weight off for two years until a death…
