I've lost about 10kg and two cup sizes - from a 12D to a 10B. Depressing, but as someone said above - better flat chested than fat.

You're not alone!! (Obviously by all the replies :)). I"m 5'1, 118 pounds and 35, 30, 36. I like the link above about the "athletic" figure - sounds much better than a 'boyish' figure! The more I lose weight the more I think "aha.....this is what my figure is ACTUALLY meant to look like" instead of being a bloated sack of…

I'm 5'1, SW was 140, CW is 119. I thought I would be happy here as this is the same weight I was when I was 18, but my stomach fat is driving me crazy and I will do anything to get it off, so I'm thinking 105, if that's still not good enough I will try for 100.

Haha it's pretty tasty smelling when you use it :) I did a full body scrub with it the other day and it's wonderful.

Honey, raw sugar and extra virgin olive oil :)

Lily - girl's name that I like. Lux - name of Kirsten Dunst character in the Virgin Suicides.

I battle with this a lot too. I try: Sugar free jelly with fruit. Sugar free butterscotch sweets. A banana fried in a pan with spray oil and a sprinkle of cinnamon. And I drink black tea with milk, it's really tasty and satisfying. Lately I've been trying to be a sugar free zone after dinner - white carbs beget white carbs…

I didn't read all the replies but I'm in the same boat as you OP - I'm giving up diet. Maybe there isn't huge research out there about it's pro's/con's, but at the end of the day it is a heavily processed product and by that simply fact alone I want to try and eliminate it from my diet. Good luck! :)

I only did it a couple of time and I wasn't a huge fan (and I'm a JM junkie) - has lots of yoga and kickboxing moves if that's what you're into.

I use mine instead of ground beef - so I make vege lasagne (just make a 'meat' sauce with tinned tomatoes and tinned lentils, onions, all the usual stuff), lentil shepards pie, lentil "spag bol" (again, just make a 'meat' sauce but replace meat with lentils), same with chilli. All very good for you - good for your tummy…

I have access to the gym university - (but I prefer to work out at home). If I go to the gym - where do I start? I've never lifted a weight in my life :/
-
I do the cardio workouts with 2kg weights and the resistance workouts with 2kg/4kg weights. My shoulders are really quite big because of this - I know women don't bulk up the same as men - but do you think going heavier will make my top half more bulky?

I've been logging workouts and walking (I walk 5km to university and back every day). But now I'm not so sure if I should be logging the walking!!

I was/am depressed. Ate my emotions. Was in denial and told myself that I was happy.

If I wasn't so mentally distressed from studying I'd be drunk. If I wasn't so hung up on one particular idiot I'd be happier!

That's what my link is above ^^^ Cept in Kiwiland we call them togs :)

You deserve every congratulation you get. A job very well done. I haven't read all the replies so I'm not sure if it's been said before, but you're also such a stylish dresser! Go you! You're such a motivation for me to keep going. Feel free to add me and all the best x

Bump - I'd like to know too!

This. Used to happen to me on my thighs and tummy but as I've lost more fat it barely happens anymore. The more blood you get circulating through your fat the better :) Good luck.

Hey! I'm happy to be there to support you! I'm 26, and have been a vegetarian for three and a half years. I used to have a love affair with white carbs, or any carbs, which can be a major pitfall of being a vegetarian!! I cook for one and I'm also a student so quite broke - I highly reccomend protein powder, I get cookies…

I've looked into the beachbody programmes before - but I thought Insanity was cardio based? Its the one I considered seeing I'm not able to put up a bar to do pull ups in P90X.

Thanks everyone for your replies so far!
