I make a quinoa salad for lunches every week. I just prep the quinoa, toss in veggies, garlic, cilantro, onions, and some lemon and oil. And for Chia, I just use ground black, and put a TBSP in my morning smoothie. Dont let it sit too long tho, is makes your smoothie thicken up fairly quickly.

Quinoa salad. It has red, green and orange pepper, cilantro, diced garlic & red onion, kidney, chick, and black eyed peas, and a lemon garlic dressing.

BHAHAHHAHHAHAH!! so funny, only cause my weigh in is Monday, and i weigh before a poop, and after, LOL, sometimes there's a good 2 lbs gone HA! I usually consider it a loss, if i see the number more than 1 full week ( i get on the scale more than just Mondays)

I do it now and then. I try to keep it within my cals for the day, and i know i will notice it on the scale for a few days after ( sodium) There are quite a few cheats I have from time to time, you're allowed ;) But, if you think it will open a pandora's box, wait until you are ready.

I too am 5'5" and my goal is 160, down from 189. I would be quite happy anywhere really between 175 & 160 if it meant i am actually in A shape other than round ;)

I think if you are buying commercial PB, then it isnt quite a "healthy" option. But if you get quality stuff, without all the crap in it. I say it is one of the good foods (fuel) and should be enjoyed :)

I guess that is why I was wondering if I was doing the right thing. Most times, I am not hungry, only because I eat well. Maybe I will try just not eating, if i am not hungry :) I was just spending so much time trying to eat back those calories, and not seeing any results.

I am super salt, crunch freak, i miss it, but when i get the craving I have rice crackers. They have curbed the crave a few times :)
