I completely understand your struggle. I started at 231 and I've been steadily hanging around the 192 mark. My goal is 170. Happy to be friends and offer the motivation to avoid the late night munchies!

BEST ADVICE EVER ^^^^^^^^^ You can also add me. :) I have about 30 more to go. I suffer from IBS and accurately tracking micros has helped reduce flares. Some of the amazing tips above have helped me get there!

I decided to record my measurements after 59 dedicated days. I've lost a few pounds but I felt like the scale should have moved more so I pulled out the measuring tape. To my surprise... 2 inches off my waist and hips showed me where my hard work has paid off!!! So excited to see that kind of progress!

Just to reinforce what everyone mentioned about tea above...I recently swapped out my ice coffee for macha tea each morning. This morning I skipped my macha for a Monster (big mistake) and my stomach is GROWLING at 11. When I drink my macha instead, I don't usually feel ready for lunch until much later. Lesson learned!

Hi All! New to the group. I started LS videos today. I follow her on YouTube and she has a daily workout. I've just started introducing fitness back into my life. I've been working on getting my IBS under control through diet, and now I want to start working out again. I live in FL and it is too HOT to walk outside right…

I'm 5.5.5 and right now I sit just at 205. I started at 231 and just those 26 pounds has made such a difference in my overall shape. (See my profile pic!) I have a long torso and arms, and a bigger behind so my structure makes me looks more solid. My goal weight is 170. BMI says I should be around 135-150 but I like the…

Thanks everyone! I feel a lot less guilty now LOL. I do drink fruit infused. I just buy bags of frozen and use it like ice. So yummy! But I also Loooooove my pineapple single to go!

@TonyB0588 i do work a lot of hours, and it does NOT leave many hours in the day. I am at my desk by 6:45 am and I don't leave until 5:15-6:00pm. I do have an hour lunch and I try to walk for 30 minutes during that hour. I have a gym pass but I also have small children that I have to pick up, then dinner, baths, bed and…

Right now I am taking a multi, vitamin c, d3, coqu10, b12, and hair skin & nails. I was using melatonin to help me sleep but found it to be useless.

I quit cold turkey. Soda and sweets. Once the first two weeks passed, I didn't crave them as much. But as far as those first two weeks...I would have eaten a dirty hairy m&m out from under my 2 year olds car seat. Now though, I don't crave them. I drink nothing but water, a shake for breakfast, and herbal teas with a dash…

Love this^^^ Maybe it didn't show this week but it will next. Don't get discouraged. Like they say, you didn't gain it in 6 weeks and you won't lose it in 6 weeks!

I cut out soda entirely, but not because I wasn't losing weight, but because I have a heart defect and the caffeine makes my heart race. I have recently discovered Milos Zero Calorie Sweet Tea. It is natural and good, and with a lot less caffeine (but still enough to keep me from eating everything in sight!). From what I…

Most of it is just pure self discipline. As hard as it is you have to learn to tell yourself NO! As far as living with a family that does not eat healthy...I have been there. I just tune them out and focus on me. Slowly but surely I have noticed they have started to change. All you can do is encourage them to be healthier.…

I have had it since November (black friday special lol). How do I do that?

I did my reset at 2300 for 8 weeks. I have a FitBit and according to my profile my average burn is 3147, but just the other day is said 2800, and a couple days before it said 3300. That average changes too much for me to trust it. Maybe I am more active than I think? I thought I am supposed eat the same calories…

My question is what is your calorie intake? Could it be too low? Do you get adequate sleep?

I should have added that I am not doing this...just wanted to see what people thought about it.

Definitely moderate. Insanity is tough and high intensity.

Part of me wishes I had not read this thread. It breaks my heart. At the same time I am happy I read this because it makes me appreciate my healthy little girl. This will make me cherish those little moments...good and bad. My heart goes out to her and her baby, and we are sending prayers their way. God Bless and Merry…

You have your calculations right as far as I can tell. You do not eat exercise calories back if you are eating at TDEE-30% cut. It already incorporates your exercise calories. So you should eat 2445 a day even after exercise.

I wear a HRM and fitbit for p90x. I just changed the battery in my hrm because it was dying. According to the beachbody site that is pretty close to what I should burn as well. I get the recommended 20-25 grams of fiber a day, and try my best to stay under on sodium, not always good on that though.

I switched to public. You can see it now.

I kind of think I understand what you're asking. Fitbit does not track anything outside of walking or running. So it will not track weight lifting or anything of that nature. If you took a 25 minute walk and your HRM says 220 then go with that because it is going to be more accurate. You can override what fitbit says by…

My protein sources are fish, chicken, pork, no red meat I have a red meat intolerance, and whey protein shakes. I am trying to follow the fat shredder plan and having serious energy issues. I usually eat at 40/40/20 because I workout as much as I do and need some extra carbs.
