All it takes to become a "coach" for BB is money. There is no nutritional education requirements, which if you are giving nutritional advice, you should probably have quite a bit of education. I have a lot of friends who have gotten sucked in to become coaches, and I wouldn't trust their advice as far as I can throw them…

I just started this week in my beginners class and have been finishing second to last. I had to remind myself that the other people have been there longer (I jumped into the middle of an 8-week program) and that it isn't about everyone else, it is about improving myself. I just started Stronglifts 5x5 and love how simple it is. Five compound moves, three days a week. I also do cardio because I have a lot to lose and because I need to get outside and walk/run/bike a few times a week for my own sanity. Hopefully I'll see some really awesome results from it!

I breastfed for 21 months. The first year the weight dropped off without trying. You really need to up your calories. Net of 1300 is way too low for a breastfeeding mom. Up your net to 1700 or 2000 - not your gross. Especially with all the working out you are doing.

Have you been following any specific lifting program? We have a rack, bar, bench and plates at home and I've been thinking of doing StrongLifts (well actually started and then my husband buried our weight bench under stuff when we cleaned out some closets in the house).

I'm in. My goal isn't as high as some of yours, but I am going to set my goal for 40 miles this month. I'm newer to running and have lagged in the past two months. Today I did 1.79 (in hail no less!).
