  • Do you have a daily plan and know the meals you are eating the next day ahead of time?
  • Key is to find something that is reasonable for you and produces results. This is what MyFitnessPal is for. Use it as a system to help manage yourself to obtain the results you want. Find out a reasonable calorie intake for yourself and stay consistent with it and track your results with it. If you are seeing results stick…
  • As long as you are happy with yourself don't sweat what they think. Tell them you are happy with where you are at and that you appreciate their concern but you are happy and that's all that matters to you.
  • Try doing some of the classes at your gym if they offer some to get started then start educating yourself with training when it comes to strength training and implementing that into your program. 1200 calories sounds to low depending on what your current weight is right now. You need to focus on why you want this so bad…
  • It is all a balancing act and management. It's not cheating if you are achieving your goals. If you want pizza, ice-cream, cheeseburger, donut, etc. then go ahead and have it but know that it can set you back from your goals. However, if you have worked out hard and ate really good for the majority of your week and want…
  • Great job! Good to see you smiling and enjoying life. Adopting a healthy lifestyle will definitely make you smile more.
  • It depends on what your goals are and what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to be an endurance athlete then yes lots of cardio is the way to go. If you want to do lean and mean then strength training should be your primary focus. The amount of cardio you will need to do with strength training to burn body fat off…
  • Depends on what your goals are but for cutting calories and taste I would say unsweetened vanila almond milk would is the best.
  • Great job! Looks like you are on track for a healthy/fit lifestyle. Well worth it.
  • You should never drop your calories that low. That is a recipe for disaster. You will kill your metabolism by doing so and find it very difficult to keep weight off in the long run.
  • Carb cycling would be the best approach to loosing fat and maintaining/building muscle. You really need to see how your body responds to carbs though depending on your current metabolism so it could take a few weeks to see what you need your carb percentages set at. I would reccomend having high to medium carb days on your…
  • You can absolutely do it without supplements. Supplements are exactly that. They are to only supplement what you can't get through diet and exercise. Just make sure you are hitting your macro nutrient requirements through your food and you will be good.
  • You can't make him happy unless you are happy. If you aren't attracted to him then you need to move on. Sounds like he is a better friend then boyfriend. It is tough but it is something that you have to do for yourself.
  • You should add a lot more strength training into your workouts. Strength training has been proven to burn more calories and fat then cardio alone.
  • Don't go by weight. You should go by progress pics especially if you want a lean toned body because the your body may become more dense with muscle and you could lose body fat and still weigh the same because muscle weighs more then fat. I suggest taking a progress pic every 2 weeks instead of weighing yourself.
  • You should be. That's a great accomplishment. Nice Job!
  • My reward is sitting back and reflecting on the journey it took to reach that goal. To me that is the best feeling in the world besides eating some really good food with friends and family :)
  • Find a good trainer to get you started in the right direction and show you proper form in technique.
  • Joining a gym isn't necessary but proper training and knowing what you are doing is necessary so you can progress without hurting yourself. Deadlift is what I am doing in my profile picture.
  • Yeah add more healthy fats to your diet. Fats are very calorie dense and will help add those calories on.
  • Deadlifts are basically picking weight off the ground. These are very technical lifts so make sure you have someone show you how to do them properly so you don't hurt yourself. Spinning should be fine as long as you do nice fluid pedal strokes when you do it but it won't help build your anterior tibials mucles since you…
  • Shin splints usually are cause due to overuse of running/jumping movements and a weak anterior tibialis. Walking just on your heals with your balls of your feat will help strengthen them along with squats and deadlifts. I would take it easy on running/jumping movements until then.
  • Don't go by weight. Weight is just a number. Go by how you look and feel. That is what is really going to make you happy. Just because the scale give you a number that you think is good doesn't mean that you will be happy with what you have. What you see and feel is what weight you should be at and that could be any number.
  • That is key to keep on switching it up and progressing. If you are looking to progress then things need to change. Routines lead to plateaus. Progression leads to new and better results. Constantly challenge yourself with your eating and working out. I bet if you were offered a million dollars to win at the next weigh-in…
  • Everyone is looking for a quick jump start and ends up jumping of the bandwagon because it is to much for them to make huge changes over night. Make small goals and changes daily so that you can keep the results in the long run. It is better to loose and maintain in the long run then loose quickly just to gain in all back…
  • I would be glad to help you
  • Diets don't work and are temporary. It's all about healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes. If you can't do something 365 days a year you will have a life long struggle of getting in shape. This is a marathon not a sprint. Don't look for quick fixes because they don't work. Make small changes and then keep on building…
  • Yeah if I could see your diary then I might be able to see where the problem lies.
