Thanks for everyone sharing and all of the insight.... I just wanted to see if it was me or if there was a real withdraw thing happening. I am going to stick to water and try some herbal tea's like somoen suggested. Thanks again so much everyone for sharing and for the words of advice :smile:

I am not a fan of sweet potatoes even though they are better for you. I bake a small to medium sized potato and put salsa over it (whatever kind you like- I prefer a spicy salsa)- It is so good, filling and a healthier option. Good luck!

I felt that way too (my ankle was killing me and swelling) and after I learned that I have arthritis in it from my doctor he advised me to slow down on the exercise a little and stretch better and more. I also read in prevention magazine that drinking a glass of milk after a workout helps replace some vitamins and minerals…

Thanks everybody- I feel better already! It's raining outside so my outdoor walk is cancelled but maybe I will go to the mall and discover all of the "stairs" they have to offer...... that's why I love this website... Good luck and great job to all of you too!

Movie night was a success.... I bought a bottle of water and had a bag of 100 calorie mini pretzels in my pocket. I did have a few kernals (and I mean about for or five) of her popcorn but nothing like I used to. I am happy with it and proud of myself but couldn't of done it without all the great advice and suggestions…

Thanks for all of the GREAT advice... it is exactly what I needed. She always gets that kids pack and I am going to "stash" a bottle of water, 100 calorie pack of chips (cause I am a salt eater more than sweet) and a granola bar... that way I feel like I am getting a sweet in reality I am not.
