Ok then she is out! LOL I am actually wanting to lift weights and do some DVD's on some other days of the week so that totally goes against what I'm looking for. At least with Jillian she advises to use up to 10 lbs. I'll stick with her for now.

That's what I wanted to know... I'm used to Jillian Michaels & Bob Harper so I thought I'd change it up but wasn't sure about her style.

I just did this workout this morning. Couldn't finish the whole hour. Great workout.

I'm between L and M... and my ultimate goal is a comfy M.

So bascially I could still use my HRM for specific calorie burn during workouts and use the BodyMedia to track it for the day, right? I mean, I could do it either way and be pretty accurate?

Thanks for the replies! I think I'm sold on it.

I found out I was truly starving myself (1200-1300 calories - not even eating my BMR) and that caused me to crave carbs & binge. Now that I'm eating almost 1700 calories a day, I don't crave anything bad. But I still always go over on carbs,…

I posted this earlier... After weeks of research on MFP and so many people successfully losing weight this way, I've decided to try the 20% of my TDEE route. Calculations showed my BMR to be 1534 and if that's the case, even on days I exercise, I'm barely eating that many calories. Which might explain my crappy mood and…

It told me (based on my information) that 20% of my TDEE would be 1688 calories a day. Is that too close to my BMR?

This. I love to eat so it motivates me to workout. The calorie deficit is the weight loss. The exercise is for fitness/health reasons and you look better when the weight is gone.

There are home workout DVD's that incorporate strength/weight training in the cardio workouts. I love Jillian Michaels, Bob Harper and the Biggest Loser workouts.
