The other day I had some rice crackers with cottage cheese and some smoked beef, it was amazing!!

Losing more in the first little bit can have a lot to do with water retention, not actual fat loss. 100lbs in 6 months equates to about 4.2lbs per week. It’s a lot, but if you have a lot to lose, it’s do-able. Like others have said, a 3500 calorie deficit is equal to 1lbs of fat, so in order to lose 4.2lbs per week, you…

I agree, It doesn't say anything about storing it as fat, so fair enough, I spoke incorrectly, but starvation mode is indeed a thing. And good luck OP on your journey.

"What people generally refer to as "starvation mode" (and sometimes "metabolic damage") is the body's natural response to long-term calorie restriction. It involves the body responding to reduced calorie intake by reducing calorie expenditure in an attempt to maintain energy balance and prevent starvation. This is a…

I love mixing a small can of four bean mix with a can of tuna (in water) as a snack. Heaps of protein and fiber and good carbs

It's physically possible to lose more, but it's not healthy, and can lean to starvation, in which case your body will store as much as it can as fat, so really pushing too much will hold you back. 2 pounds per week is a good healthy goal.

Hey. I'm a little confused, it looks like you're referring to fruit, dairy, and carbs as man made sugars? These are naturally occurring sugars. Things like chocolate, soft drink, and granola bars have man made sugar.

Thanks for your tips everyone!! I ended up having a can of tuna, and later a scrambled egg and some cottage cheese, which all fit in with my calories. I wasn't craving anything in particular, I just wanted to eat haha. I already take a multivitamin, however I've run out and don't have any for today, so I'll let you know if…

https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ This calculator will help you heaps. Keep in mind that if you input your exercise details that it will take that into account for your calorie intake and you shouldn't "eat back" the extra exercise calories that MFP gives you.

Sarma. It's a Bosnian/ Serbian dish. Ground beef and rice (with spices) wrapped in pickled cabbage, and cooked in a tomato sauce. So yum.

Mine is actually the name of my Blog. It used to just be my real name, but I changed it recently

The Fitbit will be more reliable than logging exercise on here, especially if your Fitbit tracks your heart rate.

I feel like this might be helpful to me. What was stopping your body from absorbing nutrients and how did you resolve it? I’m constantly tired and can’t seem to get my energy levels up. At one point my iron was low, and I figured that was the issue, but it’s back up now and still always tired.

A calorie is a measure of energy, so technically, a calorie is a calorie. However, the composition of those calories can be different, and our bodies process them differently (carbs, fats, proteins, etc).

Drink a whole bunch of water. If you’re not hungry, but you’re reaching for food anyway, fill the rest of your tummy with water so you’re not even thinking about food. Or, keep your hands busy. Write, or colour, or do a puzzle, or play games. It’s much harder to stuff your face when your hands are preoccupied. You should…

Slices of cucumber, a dollop of cottage cheese, and then a bit of smoked salmon on top. So yum!

I don't know anything about the injections, but my Mom takes B12 tablets and loves them. Every time I go to her house she makes me take some. Says they help her perform at her best self, especially after working night shift.

I have my FitBit, and I've just restarted the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide. I forgot how hard it is, and I'm super sore today haha

I personally don't eat back my calories. I calculated my suggest calorie intake with regards to my lifestyle and goals using this site https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ and then edited my calories and macros on here to what that said.

I just want to say thanks to everyone for their input, it's helped a lot and made me feel a lot better. I'll just continue on my journey and take whatever she has to say with a gain of salt. If he comments get any worse, then I think I'll stop doing weigh ins with her, but for the time being, I'll just track my progress…

Thanks for your input! And you're so right, the feedback that I've received from everyone has made me feel so much better.

Yes, she's my distributor, however, I'm not purchasing the products at a marked up value, she's selling them to me at her cost value, so she's not making any money off of me.
-
No, I'm not paying her. I'll stop stressing. Well, I'll try. It's difficult when I'm getting the 3rd degree from her for being so unhealthy. I just need to keep going and losing weight and then it won't be an issue anymore

Oh wow, I can’t believe the BF on your scales didn’t move! That’s crazy.
-
Well that's certainly good news to hear! And I love strength training, so I'll definitely be doing lots of that! Thanks again!
