Thanks @PaleoInScotland! Goose fat...that might even be more difficult to find than the avocado oil for me. Sounds amazing though. Must be time for lunch!
-
Thanks! I'll try to hunt down some avocado oil - maybe I can find some through Amazon's prime pantry!
-
You're killing it! I'm inspired by the control you took of your life!
-
So inspiring!! You look awesome!
-
This is amazing! So much hard work here!!
-
Awesome kdz0444!! A tattoo is one of my goal-meeting treats too =D

Pork rinds!!

Awesome work @ejc784. It's always encouraging to see the scale drop when that's your goal. Flour tends not to be my friend either, but I couldn't bear the thought of giving up Asian noodle dishes...so now I use my spiralizer religiously! Thank you zucchini and squash. Cheers and good luck!

You look amazing!!! Those short shorts are a goal of mine too!
-
@maddywarden ...your progress is mind-boggling. My goal is 50 lbs over the next 8 months, and you've just cemented in my mind that it is actually possible! You look fabulous - rock those skinnies girl!! <3
-
Right???? Everyone looks amazing!!! Edited to add...sorry for all the ??? and !!!.

Just some freshly cut pineapple and a smidge of the juice from the bottom of the Tupperware bowl. Amazingly sweet and lots of vitamin C!

@tiffanycompton33.....Great work! You look awesome! And amazing work to all my fellow shorties! Hopefully will be posting my "during" later this spring and my "after" sometime this fall. I guess that means I should take before pics...:(:(:(:(

OP, I know you said you don't like to eat it cold, but I discovered on accident that tuna mixed in with cottage cheese is yummy! It sounds kind of gross, but I love it. It's a protein bomb!

Cheezits are the bane of my existence...in the sense they become glued to the bottom of my shopping cart and can only be removed by the cashier and placed into a bag that goes home with me. And I actually prefer off-brand cheezits to the real thing. Weird!

Also...Byrdsong, you're a bit backwards with your set x rep scheme. Lifting heavy with few reps is more of a strength plan rather than a hypertrophy plan. If you lift lighter with more reps, you're looking for size - which is what bodybuilders are typically more concerned with. Just FYI!

That's funny, because I keep trying celery too, and BLEEEHHHGGG!

YES! I do a happy dance inside when I get to the gym on a Saturday around 1 PM and there is no one on the cardio machines and only two guys down in the weights. I go it alone, too. I do go to a yoga class once a week, but I stopped asking my friends to go with me because it's distracting. :|

Cottage cheese! If I have some I'll add a tbsp. of flax...if I'm low on protein, I'll toss in some tuna. NOM.
-
Nom, flax. I actually like its almost-weirdly-sweet flavor - I usually pour it on my salads and mix it into my cottage cheese. I also throw it into random dishes that I make for dinner, especially casseroles or when I'm breading something. It disappears into the dish!

Holy *kitten*. I am obsessed with spinach. YUM!

If your kids don't have any nut allergies, make a fun trail mix! You might not think of it as a traditional breakfast, but the fat, fiber, and protein in nuts plus the fast energy from m'n'ms and raisins/craisins is a great macro profile for an alert child. IMO.

Wooo hooo! That's awesome - keep up the hard work. It's worth it!
-
OMG avocado. I eat it plain, on sammiches, whip it up into a healthy guac and dip my chicken in it and/or use it as a salad dressing. Nom nom nom.

It's amazing what you can do with your mental strength! Our bodies can (usually) handle way more than we think. Hooray for NSV's!
-
Your stats sound almost just like mine! I'm almost 5'2, around 150lbs too. I'm dipping my toes into an exercise routine, but haven't established one yet, so I am trying to keep my calories below maintenance (around 1700 for me). So I'm currently set at 1400, striving for lower carbs, higher fat and protein. I think my…

Good for you Jen. Your family is beautiful btw. I've read that we shouldn't strive to change our bodies because we hate them, but because we LOVE them. =)

Gotta confess, I cried a little reading this. My brother and his wife just lost a baby last month, and I've seen how devastating it can be to a family. I'm sooo happy you guys have decided to keep trying! And through all that, you look amazing. Now you can focus on you and baby being healthy together. :)

You're looking fab, girl!

This! I don't have any medical information, but from personal experience, I have never noticed any negative side effects from my 5 yr old daughter having foods made with protein powder.
