I wouldn'y say your body was dumb...more confused! I'm no expert but I have heard that eating little and often is best, as your body needs the calories to function, even at a minimum rate. Maybe your body is really confused because you're eating so much in a shorter space of time then starving it? Do you exercise a lot?

Hiya! Thank you so much for the reply! Yeah I think that's the best idea. I've got a day out on friday that will probably burn a few hundred, and Sunday. Just so much temptation! Haha :P Yeah- thanks so much for your suggestions :) Hope you had a good day!

I also want to go to King's Cross station and run at platform 9 and 3/4s.

These are all amaaazing! In my local pound store (oh so british), people are asked to leave if they ask a member of staff how much something is.

I personally won't buy bottled water from a supermarket...unless it's part of a meal deal or I have no other drink with me. I'd rather just bottle the water from my tap tbh.
-
mrincredible9- I only drink tapwater tbh because it's all I can afford! nxd10- that sounds good- do you know why it works?

I live in England and we've had about 3 days of sun, so I reckon my body is having a mild breakdown at the change. I thought I did drink quite a lot, and even more so over the last week or 2. Could it be my body getting used to the extra fluids it's not used to?

Thanks guys- If i'm not bloated I have water retention..wheyyy! Thanks for all your advice! Atm I'm at the stage where if I poke my belly I can feel a swishy noise (sorry...but that's how it is!) I hadn't thought about the diary not showing all the salt...feel a bit silly haha, but will keep a better eye/choose the same…

Thanks so much guys!! Your comments are a real boost for me :D Good luck to you guys on your journeys!!!

I find keeping topped up with water helps with this personally. Maybe a large glass of water each hour to see if this makes any difference at 11am?

5ft 4- first goal weight of 135lbs and then if I still see room for improvement, 130lbs. The last 5 lbs would be less intense though.

Heya guys :) Feel free to add me if you want another weight loss buddy! x

Hiya! Thanks for replying :) I do 90% of the time...that's why it's so frustrating. I need to throw myself in more and have a bit more support on a day to day basis. I know you're right- I'm going to be even more careful :) x

Started off with anorexia aged 14...went from 9 stone to 6stone. Then, I had rubbish therapists tbh, and they encouraged me to eat anything. This didn't bode well for me, so I'd eat and then feel so guilty I wouldn't eat for a while after. Finally found a good treatment that worked for me, and steadily went up to 9ish…

Thank you so much for replying. Might sound silly but am having a few days break from the diary atm, because I'm becoming obsessed and not in a healthy way. Whilst not recording, I'm making better choices already because I can't see exactly what they compare to on my chart. I used to have an ED, and only put weight on from…

Yes, providing you stay within the deficit and don't otherwise have other things getting in the way of weight loss (not burning calories, water weight etc), you should lose weight. Enjoy!

I am genuinely stumped then. I mean, I'll keep an eye on "bloating" foods, but I don't see how I can be putting on weight that isn't simply water. Looking at my diary now, the worst that should be happening is I stay the same. This whole journey is feeling like such a massive mountain atm. I'm feeling really disheartened…

Bump..

Is it normal for my measurements to be increasing along with this? Could just be water weight increasing that, right? :(

Some kind of bulky salad veg (lettuce, cucumber) Ketchup (all in moderationnnn) Semi skimmed milk

Thank you to ALLLL of you for replying- very much appreciated!! Ok, so I've changed my settings so that I can show my sodium intake. Going to drink a lot more water more regularly and try and bump up my cardio. I've also ensured I'm set at losing 1lb a week to ensure accuracy. With my exercise, I actually do 4-5 hour…

I've made my diary public now. I track everything, and if in doubt I over compensate. I read packets as well to have a good idea of what to expect on here. It may be I don't drink enough or too much salt- I've heard that can retain it. It isn't my TOM at the moment, but I do feel more bloated and lethargic than normal…

Thanks guys- definately going to look into those. Very disheartened today because even though I've been staying under my calorie allowance every day, and been exercising, I've put on 2lbs. Whyyyyyy?
