My weight isn't shifting. I thought I'd reached a plateau and I've either been eating about 500 extra calories a day (not being funny...no...no I haven't), or I have water weight that won't bog off.

Anyway, I am starting my "new life" mid september, and I have a goal. I want to lose about 10lbs by then.

So the weight isn't budging now, but hell, it WILL!!!

Looking for more friends on here and motivation. Gonna be honest, the whole "eat more/eat less" thing is too confusing to comprehend...so many contrasting views. I need advice that will work. I also need more motivation. My parents are at the view that "I'm fine as I am now". Thanks, but I need motivation to reach my goal.

IF I SOUND PUMPED UP IT'S COS I AM.
Come one guys...lets lose weight!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Please message me with an add :) )

MFP has already created you a calorie deficit based on the activity level you have chosne. So eat to your goal, yes that means exercise calories. The body needs fuel to run efficiently. When you fuel the body it will metabolize and burn the fat. Be consistent, log every day, everything! Drink water. Do your own cooking. Limit take-out and processed foods. Eat your vegetables and fruits. And exercise!

I do 90% of the time...that's why it's so frustrating. I need to throw myself in more and have a bit more support on a day to day basis.
I know you're right- I'm going to be even more careful :) x
