Also scrumptious. Especially since they are the size of my head. But it's the chicken bakes that call to me.

Oh no!! That would be so rough!! Although I think a whole shrimp platter could fit into an MFP day pretty well. :)

Total bump! sprinkle a little granola on top of that thing and we are talking! ooh, and light cool whip!!

Could be. I live in Guatemala. Or the treadmill could just be wrong. But 5kph might make sense.

yeah, that's not what I wanted to hear :)

I'm in almost the exact same boat, except 5'5" so a lot heavier. I lost 25 lbs in the spring and then went back to the States for the summer and just let myself eat lots of fun stuff (I didn't even have a tattoo, motorcycle accident, etc. to blame it on.) Anyway, I gained about 10 back (my lowest was 175 and I'm at 185)…

If you're going for vegan, what about a really nice ratatouille?

I've traveled quite a bit in the middle east (Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Yemen, Egypt) and many of the belly dancers I saw did have a voluptuous shape with extra belly fat. Historically, that was considered very attractive in the middle east. I noticed that many of the photos of the extremely in shape belly dancers did not have…

I like Lands End for a wide selection of bathing suits with pretty good coverage. A little expensive though.

There are lots of studies showing that people who do any kind of shift work (night shifts especially) have higher rates of depression, obesity, etc. I would wager that the smoking is another way of dealing with the stress of the job and shift work.

Great minds...

I totally respect a person's decision not to have children. It's not selfish, it's just a choice and a completely valid one. But keep this in mind... YOU WILL GET OLD ANYWAY. Your body is going to change someday whether you have babies or not. Just think, when you get to be seventy, will you look back and be grateful that…

I use my ipad and could only find one app that worked there "My Days". I love it. Much better than using the calendar alone. It calculates your average time between periods and automatically tells you when the next one is coming up.

Other people may have already responded to this but I would much rather have my kids out and about, walking, and getting exercise, even if they are wearing a harness, than stuck in a stroller. I think we keep our kids in strollers way too long and that contributes to our obesity problem. I've seen kids as old as 6 sitting…

YAY!!! Great NSV!! I've been feeling bummed because the scale has been going up and down (mostly because I've been eating up and down) but I went to my closet and pulled out two old suits that now fit and had to have the seamstress come in and take in all my other pants since they were big again. So, I guess I should…

I weigh at work so naked might cause a bit of a stir. But I do take off my jacket, scarf and shoes...and shift from side to side until I find the lowest number. :)

SASHIMI!!!!! no rice, all goodness!!

I wish I could put my highest pregnany weight, since then it would look like a 60+ lb loss and I could do my success story! :) But since with both babies, I lost the 40+ lbs of pregancy weight within 4 months (just through giving birth and breastfeeding), I don't really feel like I could justify it.

Absolutely! Let's rock this thing! I lost 22 lbs and then got all lax and am up 7 (hopefully some of that is water weight from eating too much salty ham) But I am ready to get serious again. My short term goal is to be under calorie goal and work out every day this week.

Also, every time you want to eat anything that's not in your plan for the day, go to the community boards and read a success story or a motivation thread. You may be able to distract yourself from eating that thing.

People may have already answered this but you can order them on Amazon.

My technique: This might not help everyone but it really works for me. I take one (or in this case, because they are so huge, I would take half of one) and put it on my desk. But the trick is, I can't eat it until all the others are gone, or after lunch. Just knowing it is there and I get to have it later makes it easier…

Saying something is hard isn't necessarily an excuse. It can be realistically identifying a challenge so that you can make a concrete plan to overcome it. Since I work, this isn't my challenge (or my excuse), I'm just empathizing with those that face it.

I'm not a stay-at-home but I can totally see how it would be more difficult at home. The refridgerator and pantry is right there all the time and it would be hard not to relieve the stress by nibbling. At least here in the office, I can limit the stuff that is in my desk drawer and going to meetings and working on specific…
