Count me in. I'm a sahm of a 14 month old. He takes very irregular naps, so I'm trying to figure out how best to get my new workouts in. When I mention it to my non mom friends, they give me all these "solutions" that don't actually work.

Hello ladies! I'm 14 weeks :)
-
Just remember... you asked for it ;)

If you don't want to go to the doctor, call the advice nurse. Don't have random people diagnose you. I assume you care about your health since you're on MFP. So don't take shortcuts.

Here's the best tip! Forget all the rest!!! This is the ONLY one you need. Take your food and a piece of paper. Rub your food on the paper. If the paper urns clear consider it the BEST food to eat. Seriously though. This WORKS!

I was seriously just going to post this :)

Good for you!

Thank you ninerbuff! I understand now. I admit I'm a bit bummed that it will take some cycles to achieve but at least now I know what to expect. In your experience how long would it take doing 3 workouts a week, awesome nutrition, and starting at 30% bf? How long should I build muscle before cutting again, and then how…

I guess I don't get it. If I'm adding more fat as well, then I'll still have my "squishy" spots as well as muscle. But the squishy will still be there. Therefore... no abs. What am I missing?
-
I no longer eat any of these but they are from my past... Subway turkey sandwich with McDonald's French Fries. Toast with strawberry jam and cool-whip Nacho Cheese Doritos dipped in cottage cheese
-
Ok so if I start building the muscle now, how do I get rid of the fat? Do I just wait for my muscles to burn it off?
-
Are you eating your exercise calories back? If not, please start.

bumpity bump bump

I had trouble with this when I was pregnant and went to a massage therapist. My hip muscles (pretty much my butt) was really tense and after she worked it out, the pain lessened. I had to go back several times, but eventually it stopped.

BTW you look amazing! You're doing an excellent job.
-
Well I don't know your size, but the bigger you are, the more calories you burn.
-
Literally... you might want to sit on a towel.

Super fun. The only downfall for me is that it has a hard time tracking me. The tv is in the corner, so I think my shadow or something bounces off the walls. When I configure it, my "frame" bounces onto the walls. So it throws the game off, as it doesn't count all my moves. All in all though I love it.

Super high intensity! I love them. Beware, they are addicting... right now I'm without a gym and I want to go to a spinning class super bad. Bring a towel and sweatband, but most important is water.

I will support you. I'm in a similar, yet completely different boat. Our precious boy was stillborn due to a genetic disorder. We have a 25% chance of this happening with each future pregancy. Granted, there is nothing physically that I can do to prevent this from happening again. However, by getting myself in tip top…

I drink hot tea when I'm in between meals. As long as I don't add any sweetner then it's 0 cals. The warmth makes my stomach feel full, and gets me through til my meal. Eating three meals, and 2-3 snacks has really helped too. I never feel famished anymore.

Well just think about it... you'll be moving around and burning calories. Personally, I find that I dance with Zumba longer than if I were to just pop in a dvd or hit the treadmill. Since I'm burning more calories, I'm losing weight. I do watch what I eat as well, but without moving my body, my muscles would just…

Thank you for the information. Without getting into a debate, I encourage EVERYONE regardless of what "side" you are on to do your research. I started looking into this matter and I'm glad I did. While I can't speak fo you, I know that I feel better knowing I can make an educated decision.

125-135 it depends on my muscle definition. My goal is to have defined abs and sculpted arms. If that means having more muscle and bringing me up to 135, I'll take it. But I feel like I've only seen that on woman that are slightly less. I'm currently at 142 and can't imagine being able to see my abs with only 7 pounds gone.
