Should I up my calories??

I have been eating a 1200 calorie diet and recently started P90X and I feel like I'm starving and stuffing my face. I'm eating healthy and proteins but how do I know what is too much? I want to eat the right amount of food and calories without over indulging either. I swear I'm eating a snack every 1-2 hrs! Is this normal?

    Are you eating your exercise calories back? If not, please start.

    I agree, you should make sure that you are eating your workout calories back to make sure that your NET amount is at least 1200 a day.

    How long have you been on 1200 calories and how much weight have you lost?? I've lost 23lbs having been on 1200 then hit a plateau so I've upped the cals to 1400 and I've started losing again. Doing the same thing for too long will make your body become used to it so I like to mix it up a little.
  • p90x should come w/ a nutrition guide, do you have that to follow? if not i would say in my experience w/ p90x that 1200 calories is not enough. Chalene Johnson says to eat every 2.5-3 hours.
  • :flowerforyou: if you are only taking in 1200 calories and doing all that exercise...STOP, eat some or all of your exercise calories, find what works for you but my guess is your body is STARVING and in need of some more fuel.
