Ohhhh, I needed to see this post today. I've been getting a little disillusioned as to how long(!) I've been doing this and a lack of size lost so this thread has been great for me. Maybe I'll start doing pictures too.

We haven't started planning our wedding yet but so far one idea is to get married in Iceland and then tour the island as our honeymoon. We've been twice already and have booked to go again at the end of November (excited.com) just for a weekend. Wherever we get married though, the tour of Iceland is happening LOL

Amazing tattoos, love them

Thank you everyone! Some great ideas - chicken tikka sounds a good option and I'll see if someone wants to share a naan bread. (Not so keen on poppadoms). You've given me more confidence I can still fit it in with MFP without 'missing out' so thank you all so much, looking forward to it now.

We'll have been together 7 years in December 2012 and he proposed on Easter Sunday (April 8th) this year. This will be my second marriage, the first I think we were together 2, maybe 3 years when we got engaged but we were young (I was 21 on my wedding day) and we should never have got married, we're both still friends and…

I'll have a look at the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy. I read the first book of 50 shades, didn't enjoy it. I've already read Twlight  I don't need to read it again with added sex!

I have a Longhaired Weimaraner :) (yes, the exist and no, he isn't a cross!)

Marmite & banana toasted sandwich. It's a meal I made while drunk which made the crossover into sober eating as well :)

Thanks Rubybelle - your way confuses me even more (but I like it!) because that gives me 172 calories from MFP! I did 0.84 miles in 10minutes and I am a LOT heavier than you! Good luck for your half marathon :)

Are you going too fast too quickly? That was my main problem. Plus I panic :weirdo: This time round instead of getting hung up on speed I'm keeping that low and building up the time running a bit at a time - I've just gone from jogging 1 minute/walking 1minute to jogging 90seconds/walking 1minute. I did the first one this…

Exactly the same as NelehY. If I leave it till after work then I either make excuses not to go or do a substandard (for me - which is substandard for most people!) workout.

I do it every night for the next day. Means that if there are cakes (eg) brought in to work, I can either say yes knowing I have the calories spare or no..because I don't! Rather than just eating it and THEN thinking 'S**t!! I need to do 4 hours of cardio now to burn that bad boy off!'. I am right at the start of losing…

Wow, loads of good advice & Yanicka - thats an amazing picture. Inspiration!! Thanks for sharing

Great, thank you - I'll look into the vitamins & start doing the app more often rather than just looking at it!

Wow, I love all the bands mentioned (Jain, is worth going to see their acoustic show?) The Levellers were the first band I ever saw live! Green Day are amazing live, can't wait for them to tour in the UK again. I'm listening to Garbage a LOT at the moment, going to see them in July and I can't WAIT - the new album is even…

Mine is of one of my most favourite places in the world - Iceland - and I want to get married there so it's inspirational to me. Not sure I'll be brave enough to put pics up for a while!

Faboulous, thats great news!

I'm 32 (you all make me feel old!) and got engaged on April 8th. I'm hoping to lose a LOT!!! - we haven't set a date yet but have looked round a few venues and none of them have really felt 'us' yet. I know where I WANT to get married (Iceland) but is proving more difficult than we thought (family etc).

Leeds, W Yorks (UK)

amyliz - thats exactly how I am! Plus 0pointed food.... Telling me I can eat as much of something as I like is just a bad idea. Calvarado - MFP = My Fitness Pal. :)

I'm working through it all so it's just a normal week for me still!

Thank you everyone for the welcome :) We haven't set a wedding date yet (we can't decide where to get married!) but hopefully I should have a good couple of years to do it in. Do I want a Fitbit?
