NSV- my hair is growing back!

Over a year ago I was v overweight, unhealthy and on medication for depression. As a girl, one of the scariest things is your hair falling out (I know that sounds vain!)- you could see my entire scalp it was so thin. I had lots of inconclusive blood tests etc and just learned to live with it.
I was in the gym changing rooms tonight when I realised my hair is longer than it has been for 2 years and you can no longer see my scalp at all, what a fantastic side effect of giving my body the nutrients it needs! I do take supplements becuase I know my diet is still not comprehensive.
My first NSV worth writing about
Thanks MFP!

I lost a bunch of hair due to hormone issues from birth control, I know how scary and depressing it is. I take new nordics hair volume with biotin and some sort of apple extract, it is so amazing.0

That is AWESOME!! I remember how I felt when I didn't have to wear scarves or headbands anymore I bet you were grinning ear to ear!0

I've been using biotin for about 6 months. Still waiting for the magic. But, I'm told it takes a while to go into effect. The other weird thing is that my hair went from relatively straight to curly. I still shock myself when I see a mirror.0

That is so awesome! It's nice when you notice benefits of eating right0

I was orginally taking hundreds of pounds worth of specialist hair supplements but knew I wasn't regular enough for it to work anyway. I take iron, vit d and calcium, and zinc (I've found a lot less symptoms around time of the month as well).
...and yes when I cam home I realised my drawer full of headbands hadn't been opened for a while0 -
Faboulous, thats great news!0
