Nope, Never have and never will. The last time I was miserably sick was immediately following my last vaccination. It was the only time I was sick after cleaning up my diet. Adding exercise. Etc. I guess that makes me an evil anti vax nutjob for not following the herd mentality. I can deal with that. And if I get the flu?…

Alongside the previous great suggestions, I would get some protein in your system to rebuild your muscles and make sure you're getting lots of potassium :) Also Water!

I have a protein shake with whey and almond milk (any milk will work) then breakfast after my shower is something to the effect of fried potatoes, eggs, and bacon!

I've found this to be a useful resource for protein powder based recipes. Enjoy. http://proteinpow.com/

While this is true, wild game (White Tailed Deer) where I grew up eat lots of corn and soybeans. Which... can be bio-engineered crops and served with a side of roundup. Things to think about. While I've never eaten horse I've heard it is quite tasty. I have however had my fair share of Deer/Elk Venison, Rabbit, Squirrel,…

I love all the seasons, having grown up in the midwest with very distinct seasonal changes... But winter has to be my favorite (its usually whatever is 2 seasons away haha) The reason? Snow. Snow is awesome. Snowballs, Snowmen, Snowshoeing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling. Running in the snow (its not really dangerous I…

I use my food scale daily. Today I rewarded running a half marathon with a rather large lunch. And also beer. Because beer is good.

I think the key is to practice what you preach. If what you preach has them enjoying their workout and leaving with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment... then you've nailed it.

Alas, if you use gloves you'll lose strength. Grip the bar as hard as you can, always. If you'd like to reduce calluses / blisters try clapping your hands together hard here and there. It stimulates blood flow and may help. *edited for my inability to spell*

I work 3rd shift, so right when I get home from work (morning) or when I get up in the late afternoon / early evening. Sometimes both.

6 Months from when I started mfp and counting religiously. Did Insanity properly and took up distance running... 60 lbs or so? Started at 240 for reference.

Just bought MoP this week. Had been quite busy since it came out. My main is a Lock that bounces around all 3 specs. He's on Kirin Tor (mostly dead server) and I have some others on Mal'ganis. All Horde<3

There's usually something along the lines of meat + veggies that comes without pasta. At worst order something without a cream sauce that has lots of veggies and eat half :)

Old photo's are a good thing for me as I near my goal weight its the only way I can -really- see the change. They are what they are. I find them motivating for now :) Though I did recently find a picture where I was maybe 8? I really was a scrawny little kid at one point :D

Sounds fun!

Crap, I don't remember when I last had them. Ovens broken so I can't roast them... maybe sautee in olive oil or steam and add spicy mustard..,. (added to grocery list)

I'm shooting for a 500 calorie deficit daily. I eat them back sometimes. For instance, "runs 10 miles, burns 1200 calories" I don't want / need a 1700 calorie deficit for the day. Not to mention I don't feel great with too large of a deficit. Base it on how you feel :)

From personal experience, 5'5" 240 at the time. I was running 3 miles and doing insanity and losing 2-4 lbs per week which held steady for the entire program. That with a 1k deficit daily eating back my running calories I think. Didn't lose much muscle density. Insanity isn't exactly low slow cardio ;)

Before and afters are fun :)

It's all about how you feel, not about what a number on a piece of paper says about you. I think I'm still obese on the chart (overweight for sure) and I ran a half marathon a week and a half ago. Ignore BMI.

You've gotta do it for you, and nobody else. Break those psychological links to smoking instead of replacing them with something else.

Love my SGS3. It doubles as my mp3 player at work (turn it to airplane mode and i swear 40 hour + battery life playing music) Love the camera, the apps, and have yet to hear a bad word from anyone I know about it. Yay Samsung!

I look at my before and after picture, and I think to myself "self, what epidemic are people talking about. Clearly this country is just 90 days from being in great shape, they are just too lazy to put down their cable and workout" Its self inflicted, like calling suicide murder. Parents are bad for raising their kids with…
